Title: My current ultrasabers projects for my wife and I.
Post by: GeneralMalice- on April 06, 2020, 12:46:54 AM
So in our quest to have fun in the hobby my wife has been tinkering with some second hand sabers as to not void our warranties. I figured this would be good all in one spot as to not have a lot of post. Please post feed back and comment I would love to hear others ideas.

First was repaing a broken saber with a snapped wire at the switch. My wife wanted some different colors on a saber to spin. We made quick connects.

Then we wanted to make a Cal leather chest plate piece. So we ended up reclaiming some leather, about 3 cows worth. Looks like I'll be making other stuff as well.

Then I found a non combat ready fallen with a diamond board on FB for 300 with a busted speaker and no fonts. Once I figured out the issue we order a new speaker as this was not in warranty. Came with only the basic color fonts and no sound. We have since updated and fixed that issue as well.
.
I added a sound font from Evil Otto Jr. Productions:

Then I joined a local saber league.  I needed the battery pack to not bang around so my wife design this chassis for us to use. Its printing as we speak.

Last I think I mentioned this but my wife is using her cricket to make stencils for etching  she doesnt wanna show yet but that's also something we are doing. Full dip chemical solution.

What are some of your project that you are doing?

What do you think?

I'll be posting review videos soon but inwanted to let you see this first.  Tha is US community for helping me and my wife pass the time. So flipping fun.

Thank you sir. It helps her past time while I work from home. TBH she didn't like the idea in November when this all started but now she's hooked. Lol. That helps a lot.

You're welcome, General Malice. Tell her welcome to the beginning of the addiction!

Great wife, great life! The custom builds on the double blade staff is sweet and so is that quick connect upgrade, just like that soundspeaker replacement and that triple bison breast plate idea, I never thought of a sewing machine that could assist in that so I must be behind the times!!! Congrats General!! ( excellent idea on the battery chassis, my first saber legion sparring made me notice that the battery skin can peel inside from the heavy sparring so a better chassis is vital)
