issues when reattaching the saber (blade)

Hi all,

i have a weird issue. when im updating my colours or sound or whatnot i usualy deatach the blade, as it is easier to work with just the hilt. However as of late I have the issue that when i reattach the blade the saber shuts down. Only after taking the battery out and putting it back in can it go online again, but again, I reattach the blade and it goes off. I have no idea where the issue lies. Am i attaching the blade wrong? is my battery not good? I don't know, anyone any ideas?

edit: when i out the battery/noise box back in, it also goes off sometimes. nonetheless, don't know what the issue is
