The Black Friday deal was something I just couldn't turn down.
Waiting for a Phantasm Initiate V3 saber staff with Sentinel Yellow and a Ultraedge blade.
I decided to see how the Ultraedge looks without the heavy grade added. I am, however, concerned about durability as people seem to be advocating for midgrade but after looking at some photos it looked like ultraedge looked "better" than normal midgrade.
I'm also concerned about the coupler getting in the way of my hands. It looks somewhat uncomfortable from the site photos. I mean, it certainly isn't a Darth Maul coupler, that melds perfectly with the saber staff, but I digress.
We'll see.
Now I need to find some people in the Palo Alto area.

Yay! The wait is over! My pyrestone Archon v2 with FO FoC came in today! I probably won't do an actual review until after Christmas (since it's my gift this year), but after a brief check of all the bits and bobs, I'm in heaven.  |
