Since you were able to recover, glad you were able to get it back.
Now, copy those files and keep them in several safe places. usb memory stick, external hard drive, etc. You can never have enough backups.
Like chalion says, I’m very glad you got them back.
In addition to keeping multiple backups of these files, as chalion suggests, I suggest you also read several threads on here about using the Launcher software to update your fonts, and you read very thoroughly any documentation that comes with the software. (Some people just jump right into using software without reading instructions. To me, this is crazy talk, but some people think it’s the way things should be handled.) If you’ve already done this, then I suggest you spend more time watching the tutorials that other users have posted about using the software.
I don’t mean to be rude, but if it’s not working the way you think it should (and it quite obviously is not), then do more research on how other people have gotten it to work, and try to change the way you think about it, so that you can get it to work for you. This community has lots of resources other than the software manual, so take advantage of other people’s experience here, and learn from OTHER PEOPLE’s mistakes, so you don’t have to make the same ones yourself. And if you find a way of doing things that you don’t see documented here, and you think it’s a better way of doing things, then by alll means, SHARE what you’ve found with the rest of us!
