I'm considering getting a grab bag for my first saber and was wondering if you can choose DVA? Would I just have to choose the VA option and then buy the additional 5 Requisition Charge's like you would for a custom saber?
You cannot get a grab bag in one of the forum colors because grab bags are not "made to order". Literally when you order a grab bag, they walk over the the shelf of pre-made sabers, pull one off the shelf, box it up, and ship it to you. If you request a particular color (from the dropdown menu when ordering your saber), they will turn the saber on to make sure it is that color first. Otherwise, everything is random.
Forum colors are made to order, that is, US has to adjust the dye in the LED's to that particular shade of whatever color you're looking for. So odds are, its not sitting pre-made on the grab bag shelf. So you can only get a forum color when buying a normal saber, because they make that saber for you, per your request, its not just lying around somewhere.

I recently just purchased my first saber! Yay for grab bags! I bought two actually, one for me and one for my girlfriend. I'm not going to be posting pictures because 1. I got a Dominix V2 in Guardian Blue, and a Aeon V2 in Sunrider's Destiny, which is pretty much just like the pictures AronZ posted - but my Aeon is SD. 2. I don't know how. lol I'll learn how soon for future saber posts.  I'm hoping to purchase a DVA Dominix V3 LE with sound/blue AV switch once I find the cash! |

Also bought a grab bag this weekend. Im excited to see what comes, either way ill be happy, but i do find it interesting that this weekend also the obsidian sound board 3.0 has come out...perhaps US needs to liquidate the old soundboards since all new saber with sound will come with 3.0. Fingers are crossed!...will post when i receive it whatever it is.

That saber in yellow looks snazzy! Hm, I may need an actual SY in the future, I use the color disc in my AS saber for yellow, but its not quite that vivid!

It's definitely a great colour. And the hilt is really lightweight, perfect for a stunt saber, or an offhand saber with perhaps a smaller blade
