So in another thread i mentioned US should do a local meetup:
Find a location (park,hotel)
Plan a 1 day event and see who will come.
Im sure a few would be willing to make a trip to hang out with forums members and the US crew.
Summer is coming up and would be an ideal time to do it here in sunny cali.
Anyone Game?

Yea, man, I would love to arrange a meet up with everyone on the forums! I've never been to Cali, unfortunately, but I know the weather is extremely difficult to compete with, cuz here in Texas, its hot as hell! I guess if you wanna sweat more, Texas is a good option  |

Shoot, it would be cool if US put on their own lightsaber tournament and we would all meet somewhere over a weekend and the winner would win any saber of their choice and other cool gifts, etc, etc... now that would be AWESOME!
Plus we would all still get to hang out. Make it the annual US "So you think your a Jedi" tournie lol

But I moved from Cali.  It would be great to hang out and clash sabers with any of you, but I'm pretty much tied up in my neck of the woods. I'll be the crazy old hermit in the forest.  |

@Cestual: Hey, I'm with you. If it weren't for friends, Disneyland, and conventions... I'd at least be on the other end of the state by now. Sou Cal can be a bit nasty, especially when you go through like Iowa or some place and meet people who actually apologize for messing up your order at lunch.  @Rel: Point for making TJ be Oscar, and man that idea of a customer appreciation day sounds awesome. |

I used to work at Monster in Motion in Yorba Linda, not sure if it's still there, but a great place for many geeky model kits and stuff. Yeah, I miss my Cali friends and the convienience of most anything you can want, but I really like being away from the cities and actually having a chance to save money for a change, money that's now being spent on UltraSabers, lol. |
