Just wearing what you have on and saber away!

And how many use some measure of protective gear when dueling?

Thin gloves?
Padded sports gloves?
Safety glasses/goggles?
More?

I used to not wear anything but after a close call last year I refuse to duel without at least Eye Pro.

So now we always wear Eye Protection, actually everyone that wants to duel with the sabers here has to wear it; I love my friends but I will not be held accountable for their Idiocy.

M.J. and I usually also wear Dirtbike gloves, thin but there's hard rubber and padding in the right spots; mainly the knuckles which is really important to me, I hate getting hit in the friggin thumb.

As someone who focuses more on Choereo than sparring, protective gear isn't as major a focus. However, most of my costume is made to give enough protection. I wear cargo pants made for paratroopers as to take a beating, boots made of thick leather with reinforced toes, I wear a motorcycle vest with insertable plates and padding and goggles for my eyes. It gives the appearance of a character in the sci fi setting while also making sure I'm protected as can be

I typically fit under the 'reckless is he' category. LOL I sometimes wear some thin fingerless gloves, and I prefer to duel at night when it can get a little cooler so I often have a jacket of some kind, but otherwise.... nada.

Usually only my shooting gloves. Very very thin leather gloves with carbon fiber knuckles. And then whatever clothes i can move comfortably in.

Jedi Relmeob the top ones will work fine, my main sparring partner uses the full finger version of those.

Really depends on who I'm sparring with, but normally I've at least got some form of eye protection.

those goggles are really nice as well, ive got a pair, they eventually do end up with the lenses popping out unfortunately but thats usually from sitting on the bloody things or having them at the bottom of my kit bag

edit: http://www.shootercbgear.com/product_info.php?products_id=1423

buy em from shooter, ive had nothing but great service from them for the last 2 years, and its 7$ cheaper

if you move around a lot and do more acro stuff, the built in knee pads are great

you can get em in tan, khaki, navy, black, multicam, and a-tacs pretty comfy as well, very light, very durable

I personally don't yet. I should, but I don't. Included in my sith cosplay is going to be a full face paintball/airsoft mask, so I guess that'l be my eye protection.  I've already ordered a pair of light grappling gloves that have padding along the top of the fingers, but they haven't come yet.  Hand shots are so unpleasant.

I don't wear any protection, though I've thought about wearing it. To broke to look around.
