Man Kham all this talk of Yellow is gonna make me go crazy  :P  You do know there are other colors right?  :D

I love the color yellow. It is my favorite color, but not for a saber. It does how ever look AMAZING! I should definitely get an mls unit for my saber that is almost complete.

I like what you did with the o rings on the standard shock. If i get a saber, which wont be any time soon sadly, i will get a shock.

However, I have no complaints when I put yellow filters in my silver sabers, but yes I would say that If you are a die hard sentinel then I would just buy a yellow saber

Always wanted a shock though ( I have a weird fascination with clan sabers )

That yellow blade looks awesome!  First time I have seen a yellow lightsaber on here, very cool.  ;D

Nice. I know it's totally not the point of the vid... but now I want to see what a Shock emitter would look like on oniichan... lol But to be back on point.... in all probability, I'll throw some kind of yellow in that far off dream saber S4.3, sitting on notepaper waiting for the day of construction.

On that note.... how do you think SY would look on something with a Brass Shroud? Would that be good?

My favorite part had to be "I got five of them, just... don't argue with me" - definitely gave me a chuckle lol.

Great review Kham, thanks a lot.  I personally can't wait to get my own SY saber... it may well end up being the Dark Shock too!

I'm working on getting an SY hilt with QD or just an SY LED module.  Really nice review, Nero and I laughed at the same comment.

I think it would look gorgeous.

The brass or even copper would compliment and capture the shine of the SY nicely; also it would give it a more Old Republic feel.

There is a FO Shock LE review floatin' around here somewhere that would give you a good idea of the similar colors being used.

Thanks for the opinion. I'd thought it might work, but then I'd also thought it might be too much yellow in one place. lol Good to get more input on that. Like the copper idea too! I hadn't thought of that. I may incorporate it elsewhere in the design.

I Love the SY but How do I go about getting my led in that color?

When you make the order, you'll see a little box that says "order comments." That's where you specify the premium LED color, like Sentinel Yellow or Pyrestone Orange. I think it costs extra, like 5$.

That yellow does look fantastic, and it's not a color I would have considered seriously before... but you make it look good!

My sweetie is a big fan of anything orange, and I've been thinking about making an orange-bladed sabre.  I need to find someone's review of the orange so I can see, though, 'cause the static picture on the web page makes it look more yellow than orange.

Yeah the Fire Orange is tough to photograph, but it's a rather "true" orange.  The picture on the main Ultrasabers page, showing the colors, is actually very representative of their hues - it's truly a fiery orange color.  Pyrestone is a deeper red-orange color, but I'll let Kham elaborate on that as I don't own that color myself.

I would say it depends really on her personality type, FO is a much more subdued orange where the PO is more "Lava" orange.

Both of the colors are sick the difference is just adding more red to one instead of the other.

I'll see if I can do a comparison for you, granted the camera lets it happen. ;D

The pics come off more yellow than the color really appears, but it gives you some idea.  Kham-Ryn would know best though, he actually has the different orange colors to compare side by side.
