Aeon LE v3 with Sound

Hey guys, first real post!
Joseph just ordered the Aeon LE v3 with Sound. Order subtotal was something like $285. Arrived three days after placing the order because we live hella, if you will, close to where the saber was assembled.

• Blade Colour: Consular Green
• Blade Option: UEHG
• Pommel: Catalyst
• Sound: Obsidian with red switch
• Flash on Clash: Silver
• Blade Tip: Round

So sayeth Joseph:
two problems have come to my attention:
 1) the small ring of metal that seems to connect the switch to the hilt (externally) has become loose and clinks around while wielding. I can almost start to look inside the hilt because of the small gap.

2) there is a small, almost adhesive strip of rubber (or something) holding the rechargeable batteries to the soundboard, and now it seems to detach every time i take off the pommel to recharge the batteries. I'm trying a couple dots of krazy glue for now.

i didnt think i was wielding it roughly, but check out these videos and then tell me what you think i could do to solve those problems:

We decided to make an unboxing video and a demonstration of the glow in the dark upon receipt. Then, of course, we charged the batteries to their fullest potential and were overwhelmed by the improvements of sound quality and brightness.

We're very pleased with the turnout of this saber and look forward to purchasing again in the future!

First off, I'd like to commend you on your excellent swordplay, like honestly, you are really good at wielding that thing.

As for the saber, I was looking at the Aeon V3 LE as my first saber with Consular Green.  I'm sorry if this isn't the place to ask this but what's your opinion on Obisidian Sound (whether you actually need it or not).

Have been lucky enough to get 2 of the Aeon LE from the grab bag system and they are totally fab without the sound in a crowded place with music playing you will not here it.
A good Friend got the V3 and have to say it is very nice and fits very well into the hand especially for a two handed swing.

To answer your questions.  The ring on the AV switch moves around on my War Glaive as well.  It is something you get used to.  I have had to replace a battery pack before and the best way to get the sound board to stick to the battery pack is Automotive Body Tape.  You can find it just about at any auto parts store.  It is two sided tape that is designed to hold door protectors on cars in place.  You have to use dental floss to remove it.  Just be sure to follow the directions on the package for the best hold.

i have the same problem as your first problem, the ring on my av switch is loose and rattles too

@Phonebox. Nice saber. Looks really good with the Consular Green blade and red av switch. Gives it kind of a prequels era look. Does the Catalyst pommel give the saber pommel weight or does the saber still feel the same? Thinking of getting a Prophecy with a Catalyst pommel.
