I've had several near death (or serious injury) experiences today. Why is that when I have to drive somewhere, I always find the idiots on the road?

That's everyday in Southern Florida... I find that listening to audiobooks while driving helps distract from road rage.
Unfortunately, Chuck Wendig makes me mad at what he's doing to Han Solo.
Agreed. I don't mind the plot of Aftermath but it suffers because of his writing. At least we have Thrawn to look forward to. |

So everyday in Florida, Sheriff's Officers suddenly turn across the lane in front of you with no lights on at all? You have to dodge large cans flying out of pick-ups and the speeding cars right behind you on the Interstate? And UPS trucks go sideways down gravel roads after they realize someone is coming from the other direction? Remind me not to move there. I find that listening to audiobooks while driving helps distract from road rage.
My car doesn't have a CD player or a tape deck. My radio transmitter for my MP3 player died years ago and I'm having a hard time finding a good replacement. |

Delivering news papers in the pan handle, I see all this and more. Although to say it's 'every day' is a bit extreme. I'm sure with the sheer number of vehicles on the road across the country something like this happens every day. I've been fortunate to not have run into it a lot lately, though. |

.....add to all that speeding to cut in front of you only to slow to crawl when turning off the road, no one here knows how a turn signal, a 4 way stop or a passing lane works.
