So I am looking at doing a custom build using US parts, I would like to buy a base saber with sound and go from there. Also, if I email Emory and ask can they exchange say the emitter on _____ saber for _____ emitter with out me having to by _____ saber and ____ emitter? So these are a few I have thrown together.     You can see I'm using the Cata Hilt as the base. Since I like it, but I'm not a major fan...in blunt truth I hate the emitter on it (just not my taste) And I have the Consular Emitter, which is one of my fav emitters. Anyway if anyone has some ideas or opinions I would be grateful. I might be posting up some other mash together's as a go along. |

The third one looks like an Arbiter with the intersection swapped for the Catalyst choke, second one looks like the Catalyst with the Arbiter emitter. Those are two good bases to start with, if it can be done.

Its more like the Archon, but I was using the Cata body and choke, with the Archon pommel and the Consular emitter. |

I like 2, 1, and 3 & 4 tie. I would personally do the overlord emitter, with the number 1 and 4 set ups, and consular on 3 or 4, and maybe the shock on 1. Have you considered using the Archon v2 emitter? it has a natural choke so you could either use that instead of the smooth choke or not. just a few thoughts. Keep it up, you're awesome.

The problem with changing the choke out on the cata body is that is where the LED sits so you have to remove the LED in order to remove the choke. HAHA I figured out how to make stuff black! Anyway, my personal favorites are 2 & 4. And of coarse the sabers would be in black like this....   Though if I am going to order TCSS parts, to add to my saber that I get here. I would have to go with this emitter.  |

To answer one of your questions from the OP, they won't sell ___ saber with ___ emitter swapped out, you actually do have to buy the extra emitter. I tried to do that when I bought my Arbiter and they wouldn't let me. lol Those designs look great though. I have to say I actually like the version with the TCSS emitter.

Well that kinda sucks, but I can understand their reasoning.
I like the one with the TCSS emitter but I really like the consular. but the saber itself is WAY to big for this little girl to use. lol

The problem I see with the emitter from TCSS, its going to be over $30 just for that one part. If I have them coat it, and put the hole in it. But as a whole I would like to stick with US. I already own the Consualer pommel, that's why I keep putting it on the sabers. Its either going to be one one of these that I am playing with or the Shock LE for my next saber. Color: VA    |

Cat with Shock Emitter, though I think what I would do is just use a Consular emitter instead of the shock, but that's just me. The emitters are fairly similar, either one would look awesome.

id say consular emitter as it is a tad more slender, though it is a bit longer
really up to you though, when you get to the actual build phase feel free to keep pming me and ill do what i can to help
