For my next saber I thought it would be cool to have one of the light up power buttons that shone in the same colour as what ever colour beam I select.  What part do I order? To get them to install that instead of the stock switch

Thanks

It's under the Sound section when choosing you're saber your saber. Just select Obsidian USB sound with either Red, Green, or Blue AV (which stands for Anti-Vandal) switch. Red, Green, or Blue are the only colors you can choose from, or you can get a non-illuminated AV switch which is what some people do when they get an off color like violet, orange, yellow etc.

Well, here's how the colors break down to AV switches in my mind.

CG = Green

SRD = Green

AB = Blue

GB = Blue

AS = any color

BR = Red

FO = Red

VA = Red

DVA = Blue

BH = Red

PO = Red

EG = Green

SY = Green

I've seen the switches and they look cool. (don't have one on mine though) but I've never understood why they're called Anti Vandal. Can someone explain that to me?

It means that they are harder to break or get fouled due to debris.  If you look at the guarded switches, the button is surrounded by a guard to perform the same function.  The AV switch is easier to touch and has a more flush profile.

I like them on silver hilts for consistency.

I'm working on learning enough to build a saber.. once comfortable.. i have a nice purple anti-vandal switch to go with a nice Dark purple setting from my RGB.
