Not sure, since i've not been to a "con" in 20-ish years, but from threads in the forums, they should have a wide assortment of their wares, plus able to do minor upgrades to existent lightsabers, but without the ability to add things, like recharge ports or change from a guarded to AV switch.

They may have a one-off lightsaber for sale at the con only, but someone else would have to confirm that.

wow tix to get into the event are $35 x2  with the Mrs, so $70 buck before walking in the door.  I really need to find out exactly what they offer at the booth.
The US booth would be my main reason to go.

It also includes the chance to get pix of EVERY SINGLE ONE of UltraSabers' beautiful offerings, plus the chance to hold and swing the ones that interest you, plus the chance to look (okay, gape and stare) at the incredible creativity of the cosplayers in attendance.

Also.. an unpleasant addition to the expense when attending Phoenix Fan Fusion was the parking fee.  For me, it was $20/day for all four days (because I was working a booth at the con, and there was no Exhibitors' discount for parking), so don't forget to factor that cost in.

thanks for the heads up

Note that $20/day was cheaper than what it would have cost to park all day in that same location on a normal day... the convention had negotiated a discounted fee, I do believe.

I have a 3-day pass...not sure if I'll be there Friday, but Saturday for sure.  Provided my work sched doesn't f**k it all up, I'll do a recce mission as early as possible for ya and post my findings here.

The US booth is a stand alone rectangle that isn’t shared with any other vendor, you can’t miss it because the high walls on all sides are lined with sabers for display and sampling.  Along the outside are several US reps on the floor that answer questions and demo all the models - very hands on.

What’s interesting is, visitors don’t actually ‘enter’ the booth, because inside are four tech stations where US crews are actually building sabers for Expo customers!  Pretty impressive setup, and I would imagine they have all kinds of stuff on hand for purchase...and they certainly have the means to repair or mod sabers!
