WTF? How we get blizzard conditions at the ass end of winter?

Helping people and them acting like total d's
For realz though
Someone is asking for advice on sabers and such
I try to be courteous and show them the way
But then they react with such hostility that it throws me off
Why ask if you are going to be a total d about it.

Just remember that even though someone may ask for advice, they are under no obligation to take the advice given or even agree with it. Obviously there is no need for hostility, but if that happens just be the bigger man and walk away. And as Logos said, some people are just d**ks. I wouldn't take it personally. |

A little courtesy goes a long way. Seems people lack that these days.
It just angers and disappoints me at the same time.
I'm the helpful type of guy.
I see a guy on the side of the road with a flat tire, I go help.
Not asking anything in return, other than some courtesy.
My parents raised me to respect everyone no matter what he or she believes or thinks.
Just grrrr some people hit that nerve.

It's great that you were raised to be courteous. So was I. But not everyone was. And even those who were sometimes decide not to be courteous. Not everyone will have the same values as you. I learned a long time ago that life is much calmer when you acknowledge the limitations in others and don't take it personally. Better to feel smug that you use the good values instilled in you by your parents. Sh*t happens. And always will. |

It's great that you were raised to be courteous. So was I. But not everyone was. And even those who were sometimes decide not to be courteous. Not everyone will have the same values as you. I learned a long time ago that life is much calmer when you acknowledge the limitations in others and don't take it personally. Better to feel smug that you use the good values instilled in you by your parents.
