That's because there are only absolutes. Something either is or isn't. What matters is how specific one is in criteria. If something is blue, then it isn't red. Now whether it is AB vs. GB remains to be seen, but it absolutely isn't red.  But, if you were color blind, you wouldn't be able to perceive blue or red... So, to a certain point of view, nothing is ever blue or red. |

Where do you think the word 'en titleed' comes from? Lord is a title. Ergo, my logic stands.  Again, only in your mind.  A Jedi Lord is but one title or rank that a Jedi may, but not limited to, assume. It's not a case of either/or, but as you've proven that Sith believe only in absolutes, I shouldn't have expected you to be able to keep up with this conversation. In point of fact, anyone who holds a position where a title is given be it "emperor" or as lowly as "officer" is technically "entitled." Now, the standard colloquial definition of "entitled" is "believing oneself to be inherently deserving of privileges or special treatment," which started off as people of the noble class starting to believe the hype given by the non-nobility and has since morphed to include anyone who thinks they are better than others. That said, there are many who don't deserve special treatment but believe they do, just as there are those who could claim special treatment who do not. Therefore, having a title and being entitled are now two completely separate things. |

It's more of a generalization, really... but, whatever. Also, the quote of "Only a Sith deals in absolutes!" is a direct reference to the idea that you are either my friend or my enemy, which will it be? In a lot of other aspects of life, there have been shown to be absolute truths. For instance... A person without a ship (or plane or jetpack etc) absolutely cannot fly. |
