People who tailgate at night with their frakking highbeams on. Not to mention people who seem to be unable to dim them coming the other way and those stupid should be illegal headache inducing blue headlights. I am serious if someone pulls up beside me during the day with those lights I get a headache if they are going the opposite way it is like an icepick in both eyes.

Newer lights overall I feel are too bright.  If your low beams are enough to blind me something is wrong.

I tend to keep them on in the car I've been driving because the low beans are absolutely terrible. I don't have a problem seeing in other cars.

I have often said that there is a startlingly large number of motorists that should thank their lucky stars that I do not have command of the Force. Otherwise there would be crumpled heaps of metal littering the sides of all the roads I travel.

Ugh, Xenon headlights are THE WORST.

ESPECIALLY when someone is tailgating you on the highway.

When someone does that, my rearview mirror auto dims, but it's still uncomfortably bright. To compensate for the inherent dangers, I slow down.

It's not my fault that I just so happen to slow down and match speed with an 18 wheeler or that the ass end of my car is just close enough to the front of the 18-wheeler to prevent the jackass behind me from changing lanes to go around me...

Those are a good idea in theory. The problem with those headlights is not the amount of light or brightness they produce. The problem is the concentration of that light....or rather the lack there of. They wouldn't be a problem if they concentrated the light into an actual beam, like they're supposed to. Instead they just throw light out on the road, which does accomplish the goal of giving you better vision in dark, but has the unfortunate side effect of throwing really bright light in other driver's faces.

No the problem with them is that although they offer more light for the driver, which is a very good thing, they are an absolute hazard for on-coming traffic because, holy shell I can't see anything beyond this blinding light. Then you flash your brights at them, and they flash you back utterly melting the eyeballs from the sockets.

If I ever get my hands on the numb nuts that implemented these and those damned LED bars...in the words of Sol, "There will be frelling murders."
