Yeah, I know...you guys are right. Concerned is a better way of putting it. It's just been an emotional heartbreaker of a year for us and I just don't want any more bad news, that's all. Sometimes my common sense and restraint goes out the window.

Doesn't matter how old my boys get, I'm always gonna be hemming and hawing over them. They're all I've got.
And on a related note, today is Day 8. Hopefully we'll get test results today or tomorrow. If not, it'll be one angry father making some calls on Monday.
While I know most test processing sites are working 7 days a week, I doubt you'll hear anything until Monday at the earliest. If you start to lose your temper on the phone, take a deep breath, apologize to whomever you're talking to, and let them know that you're just a stressed out concerned parent, and you know it's not their fault. I doubt you'll find anyone working at a doctor's office who doesn't understand and isn't sympathetic. Not that any of that gets you the results any faster, but I can pretty much guarantee that yelling at people who have nothing to do with actually processing the tests isn't going to get you the results any faster. On the off chance that no one has mentioned it to you yet, we're all hoping/praying/sacrificing origami animals to the great fire that the results come back negative. |

No official word as of now, but im all but convinced he doesn't have it. Whatever symptoms he had have gone away, none of the rest of us are sick, none of his friends are showing any symptoms, his girlfriend is just fine...we just need the official word.
His tonsils are bothering him, though, but this is something he's had before; tonsil stones. Just hoping it clears up soon so we can get back to whatever normal life we can have.

Been on pins and needles ever since I got that tracking email...I've seen too many complaining videos on YouTube and heard about people who had their order botched and it's making me nervous. I really, REALLY, need this to be flawless for my kids.
I'm just rambling, guys. Don't mind me. Either I post it here or I spam the "impatient" thread, LOL.

Which is why you ordered them early, AND got extra sabers, just in case there are any issues you have time to get them fixed and/or have a different saber to give as a "until your real gift gets here you can use this" present. I know you want them to be flawless for your kids, but I'm willing to bet your kids will be happy with having a father that loves them and bought them lightsabers, perfect or not. |

Yeah, I know....I'm overthinking it, LOL. At least I was able to get confirmation that the Frankensaber got done with the upgrades. And I've been incredibly lucky so far not to run into any of the problems that others are, such as no email replies. Hopefully my good juju will hold out a little further.  |
