Journal 5/15/24

A few nights ago I had the Insomnia Monster after me.

On the bright side I did try dancing with my second generation fix for my Azure Fallen. It works well enough but I still would like to get a replacement emitter for that saber. I am wondering who I should contact abut it. I will have the photo shoot up soon.

I got the photo shoot up.

My first (and only) saber, and hopefully not my last!  I've always loved these 'nonstandard' saber designs so I made sure my first one was one of them.

Hi Zenith, I just commented on your Introduction post where I said there aren't many of these Brood Guards around on the forum...but I gotta say this is particularly nice - that shade of SRD looks great. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Zenith and welcome to the madness of the forum! You can't have a better reason to treat yourself to a first saber (you do know you will buy more in the future don't you - it is your destiny  Grin).

And what a great saber to get, we don't have many Brood Guard owners on the forum (and the pics you posted look great btw).
And I guess Stormchasing gives you plenty of opportunities to collect roadside furniture and signs.

Enjoy your time here and I hope your saber serves you long and well, chat soon maybe.

Hello and welcome to the forums,
Nice to have you with us. Strom chaser a, well a good saber is also good for when the power goes out. Best glow stick ever! What a great b-day gift! Happy sabering and MTFBWY!

Love it. You all know from my journal that actually used a saber for that purpose in a disaster. Also went to a disaster preparedness event in costume that included my saber. I also have a certain font and color that matches my disaster hood that is a pink tie dye nomex fire hood. I also have a very common dream theme about using my saber dueling a disaster.

It is! Admittedly I didn't expect it to be quite this green in person but I'm not complaining.

You could always drill out the old screw and re-tap new threads that are one size larger set screw, if you have or know someone who has the proper tools. You can get set screws from a local hardware store. This is what I would do. Hopefully this is helpful. MTFBWY!
