So I went to my local Thrift store today, and holy crap, I lucked out.
I found a pair of leather combat boots my exact size that, if new, would have cost me somewhere around $200, Another belt, a leather skirt I can cut up and use for waist-armor, shin guards, Black gloves, and a black vest.
That's pretty much all I need for my costume, essentially, so now I'm just thinking of what small cosmetic changes I can make to make it look even better!

Halloween is going to be so awesome.

Definitely. I know it'll look AWESOME.

And to make matters even BETTER, my friend plans to get a AS Phantom Initiate before the 31st, so we can have an in-costume lightsaber fight on Halloween!

My next tunic is going to be sleeveless. I have a contact for sewing and stuff, so it ain't gonna break the bank.

I want to clarify that the cloak in the current pattern isn't very good. The cloak in the older pattern is excellent, I've made two of them.

Holy crap that's a great choice!  I went with a cloak as well, inspired by one of my fave characters - Luke from ROTJ (plus Kyp Durron rocks the cloak too and he's totally cool).  I gotta recommend Twin Roses, I stick by them after the awesome stuff they made for me.

I bet that costume will turn out great!

Just lookin at the Nomi pic, I have to say I see a NUMBER of US parts in that saber.... dark war glaive pommel, archon V2 body.... too bad you can't steal the emitter from the Bellicose, but then that looks like it might be clawed instead of bevelled.... maybe a Raven or War Glaive emitter?

But to get back on subject, that's gonna look awesome.  Smiley
