It can be great living high up, some days you get awesome panoramic views which at night change and look a bit like Coruscant or Los Angeles sprawling out.
I have even had Bespin City views when a cloud or mist comes in low and all you can see is the rolling tops of the moisture. Ok there are a few unnerving things for visitors like seeing drinks slopping from side to side in their cup because the building is shaking in the wind but you get used to it.
My building is six floors high. I live on the 5th floor but I do have a nice panoramic view. My city is build on hills going up from one of the largest lakes in Western Europe. It is know to be a very steep city (almost 560 meters difference between lowest and highest points = about 1'830 feet). Even though I live about 5 km away for the lake (about 3.1 miles) I have a great view over it, the city and the Alps on the other side of the lake. |
