He always brings something a little different to the table than the actors around him. I think the last movie I saw him in was Spotlight. With so many amazing performances around him, he was still a highlight, and yet he didn't have masses amount of screen time.
The Sum of All Fears comes to mind as well. |

And Scream. I think it's great that in recent years, due to the changing nature of how movies are watched and that superstar "names" no longer open movies, that good character actors are getting more recognition and better roles. |
