Lets see... Today is pretty typical...
Started with a 20oz glass of water. Followed by a 16oz cup of coffee.
Then a 700ml / 23.7oz bottle of water.
Then a 16oz coffee
Then another bottle of water.
Now: Starting on my final coffee of the day ... and another bottle of water.
By tonight I will drink 2-3 more bottles of water and usually have a cup of mint herbal tea before bed.

Water is also a great appetite suppressant, partially for this reason - we Americans generally run on the edge of dehydration as a rule. Something about being able to drink whenever we really need to, so we don't store enough water. :-)
I am rediscovering this myself - losing weight requires higher water intake. To bad it doesn't taste as good as coffee or tea....
Go outside and run your ass ragged in the summer heat. That water will taste delicious and make anything more than seem like you're drinking hot tar.  One could argue that because Water is the bases of all flavor, nothing tastes as good as water.  1) bas is 2) I think you mean benchmark 3) that benchmark is for the definition of flavorless. |

Random observation: It seems there's a lot more responses about disagreeing than the actual content. One person iterates understandably why they don't like something, followed by 3-6 comments about disagreeing and complaining that anything negative was said. Critique the movie, not the audience. It seems film fandom defeats human empathy. S'weird.

I will be taking a Hiatus from the forum for a while. I am currently in the process of transitioning from Supervisor to Manager as I have been promoted and there is quite a bit to learn. I have very little time for anything else. It is beginning to take a physical and mental toll so I have to cut things out to focus. I work in an Exchange, which is a store that is for members of the Military, so there is a lot of little things I have to learn about Regulations and other formalities as well as the normal retail Bullshell. Stay safe everyone and I will see everyone sometime in the future.

Yes, but if you listen to what they are saying, bodies help you become quite good at self-regulating your diet.
Now if I could only get my body to stop screaming "eat all the sugar!!!!!" I'd listen more often. It's sandwiches and chips versus burgers and fries....which sounds good. Y'know, that whole bit about being made with real ingredients and fresh produce?
Have you looked at the calories in some of those, ESPECIALLY the footlongs have MORE calories than a Big Mac. A six inch isn't bad, especially if you omit the chips and the soda. When I go to Subway or whatever for a hoagie, I'll normally get the footlong and make two meals out of it. Eat half now, and save the other for tomorrow's lunch or something. I definitely DON'T drink enough liquids. Period. Thanks Spironolactone... diuretics are fun. |

Offering differences of opinion on a topic is what make forums great. Especially when it comes to discussing movies/tv shows in fandom. Fans love to speculate and state their opinion on a topic. As long as it does with mutual respect and doesn't devolve into name calling and hair pulling I personally find it interesting to hear other people's point of view, even if I don't agree with it. |
