Title: The Sickle (Mini Reaper)
Post by: Isola815 on September 19, 2017, 11:55:43 AM
This is as far as I know of, the smallest US sound saber build (6  7/16"). It's called a Sickle, because a Reaper uses a Scythe, and the smaller version of a Scythe is a Sickle.

This hilt is built out of the bottom section of a Reaper hilt, an Archon 2.1 emitter with the flange cut off and the neck removed, and an Emperor's Hand black pommel.

The only part of this that isn't US is obviously the Graflex clamp which houses the hidden switch under the rubber cover.

The wires run through a hole where the covertec wheel used to be.

The hilt is equipped with tri-cree Consular Green, and V4 sound.

Awesome :o ! And who doesn't love those Graflex clamps ;) ?

Well, shade_1313's saber came down to 7.5", so I guess this makes you the new record holder, right?

Wow. That gives a graflex build I saw called "The Stubbyflex" a run for its money size wise. Well done!

Thanks :)

I have probably 10 more Reaper ideas too. It's probably the most mod-friendly saber, and the best for MHS swaps as well. If I'm not careful I'll need a room just for Reapers!

I would love to see hilts this small made for true 1-handed use.
