Title: 2nd Mystery Box Review, Feeling severely underwhelmed here. Post by: Hostile 17 on February 21, 2018, 07:02:07 PM First off, i received my first mystery box yesterday and it was a Sentinel LE with silver blade and AV switch. Now I was happy with that. Loved my first Ultra saber.
Today the second one I ordered came in. And I could barely contain myself. I tore Through the box and bubble wrap and saw the words written on the brown paper covering the hilt... Another Sentinel LE, with AV switch.... I slide the blade into the hilt and pressed that damned button praying to the Jedi council as hard as I could.....and the blade was silver....again. Two mystery boxes ordered two days apart and I get identical Light sabers. Now I knew that it was always possible to get two of the same hilts but getting the same color too? This is difficult to reply to as you seem to clearly understand the " randomness " of the saber pulls... while at the same time pointing a finger at the US staff for not recalling what you received earlier. There are many other members who would be thrilled to now have a staff. Also the silver blades are providing opportunity for multiple color changes via the US plastic color discs or getting a sample theatrical gel color book from companies such as Lee and Roscolux. You can make some awesome different shades of green. Perhaps a MB is not the best choice for you if you are more specific about your expectations and not wanting another gamble. The odds of getting the exact duplicate back to back are high... so perhaps the Force and Yoda are guiding you. ;) How about customizing each saber to make them so different... and then sharing your pics. :) Title: Re: Re: 2nd Mystery Box Review, Feeling severely underwhelmed here.
