Title: Wv to LSU conversion?
Post by: Stefan on December 27, 2016, 03:28:27 AM
I bought a soundfont from a different source but they're wav. files. I read the Audacity post but don't have the old US Lsu converter. I have the V4 obsidian which is supposed to accept wav files but whenever I try this I just get static even after adjusting speed in Audacity. Is anyone still using this method? is there a new method? I would welcome any help. Thanks in advance.

Other boards use different bit rates and such, so you can't use them out of the box, so to say. You'll need to convert the bit rate to 48000 and the sample rate to 16, not 32. Also, if it is a stereo track, you'll need to make it a mono track.

Thankyou, I did all that and I still got static. I'm missing something but don't know what.

If it's static, I have no idea. The Launcher won't let you use sounds with the incorrect settings, so that's not causing the problem. All fonts I've ever gotten have worked fine, so I truly am lost. Sorry.
