So I went back and retooled my Custom Dark Shock RGB and wanted an updated thread. I added a section from a Guardian Pommel as a choke for the Manticore emitter. This was because of the ridge near the top of the Shock hilt, it was too close to the lip of the Emitter that goes out a ways on the Manticore. This just made it uncomfortable to wield. I thought a Classic Shock Pommel would look better to match the lines of the Mantiicore emitter and the plain silver color. I also with the new added length and wight added a 40" blade. Making this my 3rd saber with a 40" blade. Hey SD. Another artistic gem! I hadn't considered playing around with the disassembled Guardian pommel as a neck/choke. I'm thinking it'll go well with my Dark Arbiter's emitter (DA ETA T+4). In the mean time, I'll have to see how it might work with the rest of my stash. Thanks for the inspiration! Cheers! |

Agreed with this! I never would have imagined the first section of the Guardian pommel could be used this way, and it looks fantastic! Great job man... give us some time to get your points back to zero too, Grey Assassin!  |

It handles amazingly well. I think it is my fav saber now all around.
The choke makes one handed combat really nice and moves my hand away from all the buttons.
I had the Guardian pommel unused and thought to play around with it.
They should sell that section on its own as a choke.
Just remember it cant be from the guardian itself, but from a Guardian MHS pommel ordered separately.
