What am I looking at? Did I hit my head really hard and wake up in the future? My video games play on a television. What, how, when, where?

I'd say 'Virtual Reality Headset', but no idea which platform this is and which controllers are used.
I guess the lightsaber blades are added by the filming SW which combines person with game environment...

Well, whatever it is I'm sure I cant afford it. But I need it. Desperately.

It supports Vive, Occulus, and Windows Mixed Reality headsets.  Personally I use this for VR:

They all come with their own proprietary hand controllers which for this game is a must.  For other VR games you can often use a gamepad (I use a PS4 controller) or mouse/keyboard/joystick.

Those demo vids are a smart overlay of in-headset video and external camera.

I'll let you know how good the game is when I actually play it.

I wanted to get this so bad.  Looks fun and like it could be a decent workout for my fat self...game is only 19.99 on steam...but then I saw I would have to drop close to 900 dollars just for the head set....dream crushed

For any ps4 owners, I’m told it’s coming to the psvr and I’m looking forward to trying it out. I’ll let you know if it’s any good on it when I get it.

I have Occulus rift, and this is my favorite game. It's nice because it's very friendly for people who are prone to motion sickness, and is all about hand eye coordination and timing as opposed to button mashing >.> I have a couple videos but my screen recorder causes awful lag, so it's not the greatest representation of game fluidity. View seen is a 3rd person camera setup mod in-game.

If you get the rift for it, it's $399 as opposed to Vive. It would require a compatible computer though to run it. I would suggest waiting--Spring 2019 they're supposed to release a new wireless headset and controllers from Occulus that don't require an external computer to run... FOR THE SAME PRICE (announced price was $399). There's alreadyan "Occulus Go" for less, but that only has one controller, so you're limited to one-handed saber beat maps, which there aren't remotely as many of. This one is supposed to have all of the capabilities of the rift, but without the need of external systems and wires. They just announced the new system about 3 days ago to current Occulus users. Also, the first game that they're really pushing with it's release looks really cool. It's a VR Vader game where I'm assuming you play as Darth Vader through his training as the emperor's apprentice. I've not finished watching the trailer for it yet.

I wish the Ps4 version had that. Thought I would hate this game, ended up being my favorite as well. Was an early Xmas gift she gave to me today. So I could enjoy it over the weekend, major bonus points on her end! Great workout too.

hopefully we get some DLC with new song. I really like 5 of the original set.

Any tips on beating 12b/12c campaign? can only move 120m with hands on. the first and 160m on the second. I get close every time now. Tried moving like a robot, tried just using my wrist for movement. The " robot " seems to work the best.

Go to beatsaver.com and download the mod content. You can get 1000s of additional songs  and more levels. I'm not sure which campaign you're referring to though. Which platform are you playing on?

That might be way. I’m doing Occulus rift through Steam, so the versions might be a little different... beatsaver.com is where you can download the beatsaver mod to access songs other than the default in the library. They also have a very active community on Discord

I say meh at the end because I’ve done so much better XD the screen record causes lag, some songs worse than others.

And Gratz on getting to expert! :D you’ll be doing expert plus in no time! Have you tried any of the single saber levels?

Sorry, I misread the first time (I was at a party >.>) Congrats on 4th in the world for hard!

I was 1st in the world for about 13 hours in the Hard mode of "Butterfly" and then someone took my spot. Video I have here does have a new high score for me on that song, but not high enough to reclaim my title. I had a few other slots (have't checked them recently) in some of the non-English songs and Speed over Beethoven. I'm getting pretty close though for the Chinese song I like (I can't even attempt the title), Battle of Heroes, and Toxic.

Ewwww... I'm so sorry. In the blight side, you might be able to find the controller adapters easier. I can't find a Maul Saber adapter to fit the Occulus controllers.
