For the Second Winter Raffle of 2014 we increased the total number of winners from 40 to 48.  That's 48 WINNERS getting FREE SABERS from one raffle.... (Seriously FORTY EIGHT!!!)  That's a LOT :-)  We increased the number of second place winners from 8 to 10 and the number of third prize winners from 10 to 12 and the fourth prize winners from 12 to 16 for a total of FORTY EIGHT WINNERS in just 10 days!  Once again, no one else is out here giving away 40+ sabers in a week :)  Here at Ultrasabers, we do this for YOU guys and we do it pretty often!  And we LOVE it and we're going to keep on doing it :-)  ENJOY!

Literally just checked my email and woke up my entire house with excitement. My first win. Thank you Ultrasabers, and congratulations to my fellow winners!

This raffle has created a problem however.
my lightsaber stand was only made to hold 4 sabers.... now I'm going to have to find homes for the other four (my empty hilt has been hanging around wherever it happened to end up for the last few months since it has no home)

HA! I just got off the phone with my friend that has the ForceFX sabers. He can't wait to see the US's in action. He was pretty impressed with the vids I showed him of the Manticore, but he wasn't sold on the price point. I'm hoping once he gets a taste he will change his mind. Especially since he and his boys duel fairly often.

And with TWO sabers (wink wink) it will be easier to do a comparison. Great marketing guys. Thanks for making my first purchase experience an amazing one. I've never actually won any kind of prize in my life worth more than $5 :D

Someone strike me with their saber to make sure I am not dreaming.  Just got home from work and checked the forum to find that I won the Grand Prize.  Woo Hoo!  Now I need to play the lottery.  First time I have ever won something this awesome in a raffle.  Not sure if I will be able to sleep now.

So for 4th, everything about the saber is randomized, correct?  And they are lit sabers with no sound, correct?

4th prizes were grab bag sabers, so they have no sound (usually), the hilt components, color and blade type will be completely random!  :D

However from what I've read about grab bags, sometimes the result can be super awesome! (including rare and prototype sabers!)

James Casey I am blaming you for mentioning it earlier, I am going nuts trying to decide now. LOL.  I am torn.  I am leaning toward the Scorpion, Malice, or Guardian (nickel).  I really like staffs but think that all of these are too large for me to make a staff and I have a couple staffs already.  I kind of want something I do not have which draws me to the Scorpion and Malice, but that Guardian nickel keeps calling out.  I already have an older Guardian in DVA so the other two also keep calling out.

Any suggestions?

Mate I have a Malice and a Crimson Scorpion, they are both quite large and a little heavy, but seriously WORTH IT! specially if you lean a little towards the Dark side . .  8)

What kind of switch did you put on your Malice?  I do not think I would like the switch box.  Seems it would get in the way.  Since you have a Crimson Scorpion as well, is is more red in real life or more of a burnt orange?

I was wondering what I'd do, and I think I'd probably have gone for one I really wanted, and one I'd been less certain about. In my case, I think I'd have gone for the Consular, which I've wanted for a long time, and an Omen, which has really caught my eye lately.

If you already have a Guardian, then the Scorpion and Malice seem the obvious choices - two big, brutal 'sabres to balance the elegance of your Guardian. What did you order as your entry? Maybe balancing that could be an idea?

Holly crap I got a first prize thank you ultrasabers and congrats to every one pics and video apon arrival I've got a belacose a grabbag and a random saber with sound and 2ch emerald I can't wait. What a way towake up merrkat ( a forum member and one of my local buddies was the first to tell Me I just woke up and saw his text imagine my reaction.

While waiting I still find ways to amuse myself, for instance. I was this close to putting my brothers reaper in red, with fire orange foc, and bane's heart pulse, when he texted and told me he wanted Emerald green with Adegan Silver foc and pulse off:).

James, my entry order that I won this with was an Initiate V3 LE with sound and an extra 16" blade for my daughter.  She is young but has a blast playing with mine that she can barely hold onto, so I decided to get her one of her own.

I decided to go with the Malice and the Scorpion as my choices, they are ones that I have been eye balling for a while and should be great choices for the collection.

Josh that is an awesome gesture to give one to your brother.  At least you have someone readily available and prepared to duel with.

What sabers?

Sabers are at the"desitation sort facility" as of 9am Saturday. Maybe I'll get them on Monday!! But the site still estimates Tuesday.

Gah! My 'sabres are at Stansted already. That's ridiculously quick, so fair play to FedEx - but I have a horrible feeling they'll try to deliver tomorrow, when no-one's due to be in :-\

Oh well. At least they're in this country!

Mine still says it left the FedEx facility in TX as of Saturday. It's currently Schrodinger's Saber.

My Tracking just got updated from an estimated delivery on Wednesday to TUESDAY.

I'm gonna burst.

Just a little idea for Ultra Sabers on future Raffles, maybe for all the people that win Random sabers, on the announcement post next to each username you could put an obscure little hint as to what they won - which would be fun and maddening at the same time.

I guess it might take a while to come up with all those hints - but just an idea . . .

I like that - even just black/silver/mixed/other could be fun. I don't know if they have the 'sabres ready specifically for each entry drawn ("The Monarch goes to... Prowl 1701!") or if they're just in a pile waiting to be boxed up accordingly. I quite like the first idea :)

10am, just 4 days (including a weekend) removed from the raffle results... and I have my 'sabres! :o Am I the first to receive their prize?

My Guardian is awesome, of course. Bane's Heart is spot on as the flash for Guardian Blue, and the nickel plating is gorgeous.

My prize was a li-ion equipped Dominix v3 LE in Blazing Red (my first in that colour) and with a bullet tipped ultra-edge blade. I think I'll take that for my Bellicose. Given that I have a Guardian Blue Dominix already, having a twin coloured staff should look pretty cool.

I'll get pics up later today, but I'm definitely a happy customer (again!).

My raffle prize and grab bag came in today.  Grab bag was a Standard issue in AB (I think) and raffle was an Aeon v3 in VA w/Li-ion. Sweet sabers, pics I'll get up later today.

So here's the story Sunday night my dad asks if I can get a saber for my one brother who doesn't have an Ultrasaber so I emailed Emory and asked if they would add a grab bag to my entry order since I couldn't edit it anymore. They did and I am paying for the grab bag:), but I don't have to pay for shipping another package. I love working with Ultrasabers they're customer service is out of this galaxy:).

So... my package came to taday but nobody was here to sign for it. Gues I'll have to wait another day.

If you feel comfortable doing so - FedEx has a form you can print out and sign then leave on the door. They will scan that form and leave your package so you don't need to be home.

I did that today - though I am home from the office at this point and it hasn't arrived yet.

(Whiich is probably a good thing.  My very first UltraSabers (Scorpion I ordered & 2nd place prize) and I am determined to not open them until my wife gets home since she is a fan too and would enjoy watching my reaction.)

CRIMSON REAPER!!
I am so fricken happy about this it's not even funny. This is one of my top 3 choices of personal saber. Now to figure out if I can make it go red!

It might not though as it's cycling blue's and green's. So she might be a Light side saber. Just means I'll have to buy another!

All  right - here's what I got!!

First - my order was the Scorpion in Guardian Blue w/ Obsidian Sound & Blue AV Switch; Heavy Grade UltraEdge.

My 2nd place raffle prize was an Initiate in Consular Green w/ Obsidian Sound and a 32" Mid-Grade Blade.

I was actually hoping that if the hilt I got was Silver (versus a Black hilt) it would be a Green blade, so that is awesome.

I have $15 of credit after buying my Scorpion, so I think I'm going to get some upgrades for the Initiate.

The Scorpion I got - what a beast. Too heavy for little-miss-no-more-fingers to hold easily lol.

My sabers got into Aus a full day before they were due- which was a day earlier than they usually take! So they were sent Saturday our time, received Wednesday  8) rang my local FedEx, they sorted out my package for me so that I could pick it up today instead of waiting until tomorrow. Thankyou FedEx!

And guess what I got! US couldn't've picked a better saber to send me as my raffle prize, I think someone musta been reading some of my posts, or my mind :P

a colour I'm missing and was interested in getting, and the emitter that I wanted to put on my shocks to make a staff anyway  ;D though I gotta say the manticore is awesome and I'm thinking it'll make a great staff in its own right. I think there may just be a second manticore in CG in my ordering future  ;)

and gotta say- shock looks DAMN awesome with a manticore emitter!

Sabers finally arrived!

My second place prize was a crimson Scorpion, in blazing red. This thing is a BEAST, and I'm really digging it as a second Sith saber.

I got my 3rd prize today!!! It's a Dominix LE V3 in Sun Rider's Destiny.   :-D

My first saber in black and I'm liking it. I played around with the extra pommels I have and ended up putting the Archon pommel from my Omen on it. I have other plans for my Dark Omen...   he he he   :-D

Well mine hasn't shipped yet.  I knew it would be a while but seeing everyone else getting theirs, including others with Emerald sabers, sucks.  I'm assuming mine is taking longer due to the Emerald driver being on backorder, but if the others are getting theirs... hmmm.  I think I was probably one of the last to order, so I had to wait for my driver to get in.  *sad face*.  And the fact I have a 4th place saber coming with me has me in anticipation mode x2!!!  People!  POST your pics so I can live vicariously through you!

Just received my package today - one day earlier than estimated :D Although it wasn't a saber order (only some spare MG blades, batteries and some additional parts), I checked FedEx at least twice a day :P

Two weeks ago I ordered my first lightsaber: an Emerald Guardian i've been dreaming about for two years and... what a joy! I won a fourth prize and got an Aeon LE with red blade too!!!.

It took only four days to go from Houston TX to Vicenza Italy (two days earlier than estimated)(http://)... four days I spent tracking Fedex shipment step by step every trhee hours!!

Wonderful! now I can force my sixteen years old son to practice some dueling techinques with his crazy father!

I don't know why they didn't drop it off at the leasing office like they've done every other time. Can't blame the weather this time. ::)

My sabers showed up yesterday and my wife left to go eat lunch with some friends at the pub, so they didn't drop them off!  Trying again today, this suspense is terrible and i'm stuck at work watching my shipment tracking.

Its a little over a week since I got my order confirmation, but my Archon and my 2nd W.R. prize are on their way! (YAY!)

FedEx did me right on the last order but this one was scheduled to be here today 3/14, but then they changed the delivery date to tomorrow 3/15.  Not sure why it goes up close to Atlanta and then back south, we have a FedEx location here in town.  Straight shot east from TX.

Sadly I think at this point I might have to hold off from getting any more Ultrasabers for a long time. 7 of them for just myself is quite a lot, and I only ever really see myself using the Dual BR Guardians during Halloween and Expos I go to, but still having a collection like these is awesome nonetheless but I do have to think about my financial position in this game of life!

Despite being a bit disappointed with FedEx yesterday, it made it a surprise today.  My wife came in to wake me up with my daughter and says do you know what time it is?  Of course just waking up and being groggy, I thought she was literally asking if I knew what time it was.  Then she states, "Its Saber time" and informs me that they had already been delivered.  She is silly.  I will apologize that these pics are not the best, I took them quickly for this post, I will have to take better ones for the review later.

My order was for my daughter, a Initiate LE V3 with sound.  She kept playing with mine and I figured I would get her her very own and something a bit more manageable for her size.  It came with the initiate blade but I ordered an extra 16" blade to make it a bit shorter for her for now.  Also I got it in Adegan Silver with the color discs so that I could change the colors for her.  She has been playing with it all morning.

Now on to my selections that I won for the Grand prize.  I decided to go with the Malice with small blades, square silver pommel, and in BR.  The second saber I went with the Scorpion also in BR.  You will notice that they have illuminated Red AV switches on both.  I contact US and paid to have them installed instead of the standard covered switch as I prefer the slimmer profile of the AV switch.  Both of these sabers are menacing looking and are beasts.  They are both large hilts but I like them a lot.  I will save the other details for the later review.

After 3 days of being held hostage by FedEx, I finally have my sabers.

I ordered some parts, a grab bag saber, and an initiate to go with the free one I got from the last free Initiate deal.  I figured a short staff would work better for a short dude!

The grab bag was an Aeon LE V3 in Guardian Blue. It'll compliment my Phantasm LE V3 in Consular Green nicely.

My Third Prize was a Dark Liberator in Arctic Blue. The last raffle prize I won was a CE Liberator in Blazing Red. I may combine them for a cool light/dark saber staff.

Got my sabers yesterday. My order of a 4 channel emerald scorpion w recharge port and heavy grade ultra edge blade. and my 4th place grab bag prize a sentinel yellow initiate V3, with a regular standard blade. Pics soon to follow.

That's the white apparently cold stuff you see on TV sometimes, right?

No it's a harsh reality of cold white stuff beginning on Halloween and often going through late June early July. It starts to blow everywhere, and then it melts and freezes causing black ice. Then you might get a nice half day then it repeats, and when you have snow, wind and ice it stops professional drivers (truckers) dead in their tracks on the Wyoming I80 corridor. This fills the parking lots right next to the exits with dozens of rigs, and it isn't pretty. This is what's keeping my sabers from me:(.
And on the really downside the snow is dry until we get to March when most people are having spring break we're just getting around to Christmas break because we finally have the snow for Christmas. ;)

As you can probably tell; I have very little experience of this snow stuff. :3

Ha.  JediJosh, I was going to ask where you were, but I see from your post.  I live in Huntsville AL now, but I grew up in Michigan and remember snowbanks (like the ones this year, actually) that were a good 7-8 feet tall.  Then after I was married I lived in Bismark, ND for a couple of winters just to make sure I understood the concepts of "cold", "blizzard" and "white out".  :-)

I laugh down here when it snows.  We get a couple of inches and it really does get dangerous because of the ice and a total lack of equipment to clear it off, but I have also been out and about in my mini-van while the locals were plowing their 4x4s into the ditch all around and getting stuck.  They have much to learn of the ways of snow...

So I feel your pain.  It doesn't help that we're both suffering from "first saber ADD".  :-)

You're not too far away, I'm in Mississippi myself.  I like Huntsville, they have a ready awesome Doctor Who conversion in the summer.

Snow, whats that?  Usually it is nothing more than rain here in FL.  Although we did see some sleet here in the Panhandle this year.

Yeah, there are only two seasons here winter, and construction. However they'll be here before my Christmas break ends;).
Speaking of road clearing equipment:). My mom's roommate moved here in 2000 first snowstorm she called my mom up and said" Where's all the snow plows.":) my mom explained that the wind does most of the plowing for us and so very few roads get plowed:). I still get laughs from it:).

I'm VERY happy with my Archon! It's so much lighter than my other sabers and comfortable to hold. And a Dominix v3! as 4th Prizes go, that's pretty damn cool!

I have to agree with you about that Archon. I'll pick it up more than anything else I have.

Thanks guys! The Archon is just such a NICE saber, It's balanced really well even with a HG blade in it. And like Josh it seems to be the First saber I pick up now, Weird huh?  ;)

Not at all it seems to be the perfect blend between a high end and a low end US, a replica and a US:).

The red AV looks gorgeous, I have a red AV on my Archon as well and it was the best color choice I could have made.  Beautiful sabers, congrats sir.
