The only way the Twilight series could have been improved -
Only if Blade used explosives, since the twilight "vamps" were impervious the guns and swords. Gonna go on a bit of tangent here...real quick. I'll never defend Twilight as being a great book/film...but...many time's peoples reasoning are inaccurate. I feel if you're going to dislike something..at least have the correct knowledge. So just a couple of points addressing some of the things I saw posted....
- The "Vampires" in Twilight ARE vicious killers (Look at the Volturi) as well as being impervious to all but the most powerful modern weapons. As the only way to destroy them was to rip them apart (need superhuman strength) and burn the pieces so they couldn't put themselves back together. The movie just focused on the ones who tried to live peacefully.
- The Original Vampire legends do not portray them as beautiful creatures..they are bloated, rotting ghouls that steal into homes at night to feed. It wasn't until the Victorian Era that Beautiful Vampires became a thing. The Anita Blake Series and the Dresden Files (Both superior to Twilight) address this by saying there are Different types of Vampires (Dresden's is the best).
- The whole "Sparkle" thing was unfortunately a by product of the low budget of the first Twilight film. In the books they are said to shimmer..like quartz..not sparkle.
...Again...Is Twilight great...no. But the creatures she created should not have been Vamps...There Stone nature makes me think they should have been Blood Golems. I digress though.... Back on topic.
