I think what has happened is so many are used to the Fake accents from entertainment, when they hear the real one they think its fake. Example. The actress who voiced Merida in Brave is in fact Scottish and was using her natural accent...but many commented how fake it sounded. |

I liked her accent. And Billie's as well. In fact, I liked the accents in that movie. And of all the main cast, only the adult woman were not Scotch. Emma Thompson voiced the queen and Julie Walters voiced the witch, both are Brits. |
