I say go for it. I loved that costume, though I never did it... I did take inspiration from it and do a Rebellion Era version. My idea was a Jedi on the run pilfering some Stormie Armor, so I wound up with roughly a typical Jedi, with Black Stormie shin/calf armor, breastplate, and hand plates. Plus, with costumes of this type, you get the bonus of having two costumes in one! With only a little extra work, you get a full Clone, and a full Jedi! Plus, you're doing Obi Wan... so that's really Clone, General Kenobi, Jedi Knight Kenobi, and Generic Jedi. That's a lot of cosplay bang for the buck as it were.
