hello all...i don't suppose theres anyone in the greater cleveland area who's looking for a training partner or two? i know i am...

Hey, we've got a small group in New London (about an hour southwest of Cleveland).  Where are you at?

i'm in strongsville, about 20 minutes south of cleveland on 71

Oh sweet, I went to school at Baldwin Wallace in Berea - that's only about 45 min away from me.  Hopefully some others show up in here - it would be sweet to find some other US allies to spar with!

We actually just got into sparring - I have a friend that took some martial arts and we're basically just trying to get the 1-10 strikes and blocks down while keeping with a style.

If there's anyone in Arlington, Texas that does lightsaber combat, I could use a partner too.

Just wondering if there's any one in the England looking for a partner??

i am very interested in organizing a practice every once in a while...i've got some definite ideas...

anyone near Oklahoma city? i could use a partner too

I kind of feel like we should start a region by region check-in of us saber guys - maybe a page dedicated to locations and then topics for each state, area, or region?

Our cookies are mass produced by Wookie children in sweatshops.... Beat that.

I think a few of the sweatshops use Gungan & Ewok children as well!  :D

Just kidding. Ewoks and Gungans are used for slave labor as well.

I guess I don't pay attention to Dallas that much, place scares the hell out of me, but most big cities do. Um...I need a new vehicle, and I have a few leads on a couple, I just need them to pan out. IF I get one, I may go, but if not, I won't have anything reliable enough to drive out there.

SO I can't say for sure, which is a shame.

I try to pay attention to cons in the area. That one should be cool. Carrie Fisher and Stan Lee are two of the guests, so I am looking forward to it. Hopefully I can find some saber enthusiasts there. No worries though. Hope you get a new car soon. Life is a lot easier with a car you can depend on, hah. That would be a good US slogan. "UltraSabers...a Lightsaber you can depend on..."

I live in Cincinnati, OH and If you guys give a date I might show up to spar though Im just a beginner ;D

Im in carnegie pa by pittsburge and im sorry im a bad at spelling its me and my girl frend sparing and my good frend kyle i would like more practis duling 3 to 4 people at a time

I would love to go down so ill find a way. Do you ure traing gear cause i dont because thats how ive learnd and learnd to fight injurd to ive sparred hand to hand and blade wich i like better with brooken fingers ribs bad knees and a bad right arm. The arm i did in a steelmill

i try to encourage safety as often as i can. fencing masks when theres high speed craziness potential. but mostly just control and distance. i'm gonna get pics up of my facility as soon as i can.

This is sad you guys are all in the states. Anybody in canada southern ontario ? I have a hard time finding people for duels and by that i mean i had to encourage some friends to get their own sabers .

I live in Logan, UT, its about an hour away from Salt Lake city and i am desperate for someone to spar/train with.

I know Spartacus, Nero and I live fairly close together.  Anybody else in the Easter PA or NJ area?

We're located in Anne Arundel, MD. I saw we because the group I sparr with is made up of ten people, which is awesome because we always have people to duel with, but an indoor gym would be sweet during the winter. But if any other Marylanders are out there I am always looking for more sparring people.

its undergone a bit of a transformation, for the better i think, over the last three months or so. i can't wait til it gets lit up by lightsabers! its primary incarnation is as my fencing club...but it can easily be a jedi temple...or sith...:)

I'd love to help by adding my own lightsaber to the mix, if I ever get the chance to come east for a visit. :)

Man oh man, wished there was something like that around here in ND.  As it is I think I'm a Force-of-One here.  There is a con here in Fargo (the only one in ND)  Maybe I can make some contacts.  I do know there is usually a couple people from the 501st that hangs around, maybe they might be interested in something like this.

Looks like something out of Highlander, to tell you the truth.  Great atmosphere to train.

hehe...once i saw it, "there could be only one" gym for me to train in. that image is roughly a third of my space. it's on the 3rd floor of an old torpedo factory. the floors are 105 year old oak, and the building is supported by its brick walls and cedar pillars that go all the way to the basement. :) if anyone's ever in cleveland, please drop me a line.

Don't get to Cleveland(if I can help it  ;D)   Akron/Canton area here .  Also looking for partners, but I guess I will just keep sparring with my self.

I just need a little more support from a few more people off the record & in the know to be able to "officially" launch the idea.  It's hard to explain, but... if it happens, believe me... saberforum and FX-Sabers will be the first to know.  :)

Olympia Washington anyone?  I'm starting a small "Let's get together and practice lightsaber choreography and tachikaze backyard cuts with my real swords" group and it's me, my room mate, and a co-worker of mine all armed with ultrasabers now...  Plenty of places to convene in Oly!!

Guys I'm just getting started I saw a utube vidieo a buddy sent me and my geek radar went crazy I'm less than a week away from ordering my first saber. And I'm looking for a trainer or group or just another geek with nothing better to do some night. I have some basic martial arts training but no swordplay. I'm in durham nc but willing to travel a reasonable distance

I have a buddy who lives there, a fencer in fact.  I'll have to get him into lightsabers... ;)
