My dark liberator (in an Avon Blake's 7 voice) I call it the liberated because of it being weathered and scarred after the war.

Awesome, ive seen the curved ones on your thread, but i really like what you did with that double! i like how you had the light shine through the coupler like that. Point!

That looks like two TCSS emitters holding a 5-6" blade portion. That mixed with the fact that it's in CG makes it one of the coolest staves I've seen in awhile! Point!

Here's what I did to my Archon. I've been wanting to convert the pommel into an emitter ever since I first laid eyes on the Archon.  To achieve this I had to add a part from another vendor, plus my initiate pommel+ D-ring.  I'm very proud of how it turned out, its so comfortable to hold and its very well weighted. Its perfect! Pyrestone Orange.

Very VERY impressive!!! Love that two tone subtle but distinct very cool! Sandpaper weathering, simple yet oh so effective!!! Point!

I've just recently come to realize how simply elegant the Dark Prophecy is. If I buy another US, it's going to be that one. haha ^_^ Point for the superb yet simple customization!

Haha, thank you! I love how it turned out! I feel like the black striped leather underneath looks like what a tanned nexu hide would look like. haha I know i'm silly, but I really love how the hilt turned out. It started as a disappointment in such a plain body (war glaive body) and i've finally figured out a wrap that does it justice! ^_^

I can't really think of a way to customize any of my sabers. Like say my Overlord or Bellicose. Give me some ideas and I'll see what I can do. =]

Same, actually. I thought about maybe putting a leather wrap on my Liberator, but I dunno. Then there's the fact that I would have to wait to do it until after I send her in to US to fix the wiring after it started smoking. :|

That's because they are already Sexy as hell! Outside of a pommel change on either,  I doubt you'll need to change anything.

Yeah... not much you can do to the body or emitter except add accents and wraps. I really wish the top half was MHS compatible. But it is a naturally beautiful saber!

I see the aeon Dominix series as the perfect customizers as they are pretty much blank canvases. Most of the other ones are so detailed and perfect as is that nothing much is needed!

I totally agree! I love working on my initiates. Even though the emitter is not MHS, the possibilities are endless. I find myself much more creative with the hilts than just simply swapping out MHS parts.

I call it Alumen. It has an amber LED and AV switch with other design elements.

Simply beautiful Milady. I suspect you won't be just having it sit around will you? What are the objects hanging from the bottom. I had a similar idea using a beads, columns, and two necklace wolf teeth and feathers if I can find the right size(might decide not to go with the feathers since amazon can sometimes be a pain.) I have seen your costume and commented on it.

Nice!! How did you do the weathered look on the initiate, it's looks great and a really simple use of O-rings!

For the initiate, I used several grits of sandpaper to rough up the surface. Then used a few coats of Rustoleum metallic gray. While still tacky, I used a cloth to rub off some of the paint creating a streaky look. Once it dried I used more sand paper to expose more of the aluminum underneath, then clear coat. This was my very first attempt a weathering. The only caveat is that the saber cannot be reverted back since I used sand paper.

That pommel is sick on the Initiate. I believe I've seen your Archon before, but I still love that combo. Point awarded.

That choke/pommel combo on the initiate is wet... cool concept that sings and probably handles really well, too.

how did and where did you get that D-ring at?? this is EXACTLY what i am wanting to do to my consular blade colore, emitter, pommel everything... nail on the head, any info you can give on the details of this saber would be most appreciated

It has a recharge port. The cover tech is the plug for the port. The crystal becomes active on removing it and it fades in and out.

D-ring and Emitter from T.C.S.S. Pommel is the basic Archon. I used a small screw/bolt combo to attach to the pommel. Also removed the covertech and replaced with a small black hex screw. Images below:

Also just finished cleaning all my weathering off the hilt to make it shiny again. It has some very light weathering on it now. But I am far from done. I have a new pommel and choke on the way to update the hilt some more. Should be done by next week.

Thank you gentlemen! That's pretty much the vision I had in mind after I got the initiate to kinda make it my own and give it an extra touch beyond the original simplistic design.

AND, with the extra piece, a 36" HG blade is no longer overwhelming for this hilt which is of course an added bonus.
