Title: Woohoo! Scholarship and Fellowship all in one day! Post by: Tanq on June 07, 2013, 03:13:01 AM Just got a formalized, signed letter that I nabbed one of the big named 1-year medical student research fellowships at my school to do heart failure research...which means I'm gonna be given through the college of medicine a $25,000 stipend, which I just found out will be matched by my school hospital's Department of Surgery :D
Also received an email today stating that I had been nominated for and won a peer- and faculty-selected Professionalism Award of $2,000, to be awarded this fall...kinda curious which crazy people made the nomination.
