Awesome shots and awesome costume man. I especially like the color scheme and the bracers. It definitely reminded me of Starkiller's outfit when he raided the Death Star. Nice job putting it together.

Thanks. I only came up with the concept and backstory, it was Eiyame though who made the outfit.

Awesome costume, man. I love the color choice. The brown and white is very much Jedi and the little splash of blue looks great. Well designed.

What are the little blue things on the saber that look like they hold the sabers to the belt? They look cool, I just can't make out exactly what they are.

The blue things on the sabers were just tags showing that security had checked my lightsabers as weapons to allow me to bring them into Comic Con. I use Covertec wheels and clips for my sabers to connect them to the belt though.

Point given!  ;D Definitely like the costume.  We need more colorful and SWTOR Jedi around!  Are you going to Celebration in Anaheim?

And yea, I saw that it was going to be in Anaheim and already posted in there. If I'm not stationed on a ship out at sea, then I'll be coming for Celebration VII. I'm also from the Inland Empire and part of the saber guild for them. Only thing that keeps me really inactive with them is me being stationed in Hawaii and ou of hte area. So I'm more of an honorary member than not.

Pearl and the surrounding area can be a drag though, I was literally stuck there for a few months and got island crazy really quick.  Luckily the PD was nice to me and my friend when we rented lamborghinis and took them for "laps" around the island late at night ;)

now I really hope you can make Celebration!

I've been stuck..ahem, stationed out here for the last two years. I look forward to taking leave just to get a change of scenery really. And I have just a couple of people willing to do a lightsaber duel spar with if any. But it's not so bad, so I really shouldn't complain.

Excellent costume, I especially like the leather bracers with the Starkiller-like hooded tabard.

Nice costume. So blades aren't allowed at Comic Con? Kind of pointless anyway since there is tons of extra light that would over power the blades really. Why the lower end Pleaser boots though? JUst saying. I got the plain ones, I liked them better. I couldn't get a costume from her so I had to order mine off Amazon. Should go with flying colors though. Nice sabers you have on you too. =]

Or is it something a Shadow would say? We do walk a fine line towards the Dark and yet never cross.

Well they do, but I made the mistake of waiting until the last minute to figure out how to transfer my sabers. My blades wouldn't fit in my luggage, and I didn't have another way of transferring them. I assumed, wrong I might add, that Ultrasabers was going to announce being at Comic-Con, not having realized they had recently moved to Texas from California. So I was forced to go without blades, a shame as it would have helped against the Mandalorians that confront me, and Darth Malgus who attacked as well.

In the long run, it was fun, even without the blades to showcase their appeal. Still made people happy with photos of a saber in their hand (especially this one man's 4-yr old son). As for the boots, it goes well with the outfit, though I'm not a major fan of them, and I plan to swap them out once I find something better.

So how would you take sabers across the pond? I mailed mine after me but that took a week.

guys.... lol plain cheapo pool cue cases work WONDERFULLY in storage and transport of poly carbonate blades... and i do think its could be uses as carry on, like, you can store it on the floor under the seat side ways, , ... is out of the way, not in the isles, and should be fine... i have not tried this, but it could still work for a case to use for luggage as well... depending on the amount of blades you have...

I heard about Telescoping Storage tubes, usually used for art, blueprints, etc. Looks like it would work, and while I can keep the hilts separate from the blades, I can pad the insides of the tube if I need to.

I've been trying to recruit training partners but almost no one seems interested. Oh, well. I'll just keep working on form for now I guess.

One of these days, before I leave the island in September, I'll have to make a jump over to Maui to eradicate the Sith presence there.

I do understand the challenge of finding partners though. My trainee and a friend of his, well a couple of his friends, are into Star Wars and want to spar and make a fanfilm. Besides time being an issue, they don't have their own sabers and want to have their own instead of borrowing one of my six. My trainee actually got a saber for his cousin (for Christmas) before he got his own, and has tried to persuade me into giving him a saber to keep. \I haven't decided if I will or not.

i would make it a gift for something important, not just ok you learned something here you go... lol, it would have to have significance.. lmao!
