Does anyone happen to have any ideas reguarding the saber theme "The Trickery of Set"

Hieroglyphics?

Hmm, interesting to think about. Set - if we're being fussy - is a god of the desert, storms, disorder, violence and foreigners in ancient Egyptian religion.[2] In Ancient Greek, the god's name is given as Sēth (Σήθ). Set is not, however, a god to be ignored or avoided; he has a positive role where he is employed by Ra on his solar boat to repel the serpent of Chaos....

So... just from there you can get a few ideas I'm sure.

The other suggestions are great. I would ask though to clarify, do you mean Set in a classic Egyptian aardvark/bunny sort of way or in a Conan serpent/hydra sort of way? Also, what color do you intend for the blade?

Blade color is Red and I refer to the God.

As in the Serpent form from Conan, Plus it's an Aeon Hilt, Not sure of what Version...

Thinking on this, I am seeing a hilt that is black with sand/tan/brown colors reminicint of desert camo colors, then over-wrapped with leather on the grip.  Heiroglyphics tooled in the leather and/or etched around the emitter.  The glyphs on the handle are tooled into the leather and stained dark with red highlights, matching the blade...

And an angry red LED switch...

I was going to suggest a red/black/gold color palate for the Egyptian god, but if you are going with the Conan god I would go green/black/silver on the hilt with possibly a red accent to match the blade. Since you are going conan, I would skip the hieroglyphics, and maybe try to work in a climbing snake or two.
