So I won a stunt Dominitrix LE V4 which came with a green blade from the last raffle - nothing fancy but it is light and fast and will be a good one to work choreography with:

For my main saber I really liked the Scorpion so ordered a full on Emerald with sound:

Now I loved the Scorps aggressive look, its pommel, etc - except for the claw and flanged emitter... so I purchased a Dark Menace emitter with windows to continue the overall theme of black heavy with silver accenting:

I like this much better! It does add about an inch to the saber length sans claw and I now feel the blade is a little short so I custom blade is in my future at around 38" total.

So yes? no? sacrilege for tearing apart the scorpion?

Love the emitter swap on that saber, looks really nice.
Having won a scorpion in the raffle I can imagine how big that thing is!

Well then!  I gave you a Dark Side point for originality (you were -1 so hopefully that's what you want).

I don't know that personally works for me because of the contours where the emitter meets the body.

But I like the willingness to experiment so early in your Saber-journey and what matters is that you love it!!!   :D

Thanks for sharing that!  I definitely never would have even thought of that combo.  I might have to experiment more with my Scorpion. . .

I like what you did, purposing with that emitter.  It really makes for a nice change that brings an entirely new look to that hilt!  Of course, there are other emitters and hilts you can swap out but, I like the look!  BRAVO to you on your style and willingness to experiment!  POINT! ;D

Also the length does not bother me. I have had theatrical fight training with a two handed sword as well as rapier and dagger. I think I can do some interesting things with it- wont know though until I start going to a local saber club this week.

Well done with the originality of this customization.  And the black finish AV switch looks perfect on the Scorpion body, nice choice there too.

Very nice and deadly looking :P Love the double window look though from the Scorpion body and Menace emitter but that area seems kinda off to me. Looms sick either way though. Also love the Dominix V3 LE saber. I have the V4 LE in Guardian Blue and is my main go to saber even though I have a few others but its my main dueling saber. Love dark hilts with Jedi blade colors. Only off color scheme I have is a silver Shock with a Blazing Red blade but has some other Sith elements on the saber

If I may ask, what club/group(s) are you meeting up with?

So far I haven't been able to find a local group.. but I haven't looked all that hard, to be honest.
