This thread is aimed at maybe creating a forum poster of members best pics in collage/montage in a style like the poster below, I'm sure someone with Links level of skill could do it, I am a semi professional photographer so I would happily aid in assembling the members pics and editing them if Link ect could assemble the pics ino a collage, I think this would be cool, and considering some of you guys have really good costumes it would really look good, Anyone interested please respond on this thread.

I see in your example there are some various ships in the background..... the pilot in me has to ask, could those of us from UltraSquadron (the whole, what? three of us fighter jocks? four? XD) submit some ships for the background? Cause, like, that would rock. :)

Hate to burst your bubble, but I've been U6 since the squadron was formed. lol If memory serves though, I think all the numbers on the roster are open except for Ultra 3 (SJJedi), Ultra 5 (ThreadJack), and Ultra 6 (Myself). Oh, and of course Lead is probably reserved for the man himself. lol

But yeah, it's great to know ships are a must! :)

Ultra 2:  Tengen Toppa Angel X
Ultra 3:  Nero Attoru (me)

Ultra 6:  Kalibos
Ultra 7:  swam

Regardless, you guys can feel free to rearrange it - I'll give up my Ultra 3 position to anyone who wants it too!

I speak for Artorius and I when I say YES YES YES to this idea!  We can all work together to make this a reality, just let us know if you need a list of our pics or even new ones made!

But of course we'll be happy to combine if you like. Then again, you guys seemed more interested in Eta-2s whereas we were X-Wings. Perhaps you can be the Preq Squadron and we'll be the OTs? :) Whatever ya'll like, but I think we should get an 'official US Squadron thread' up someplace to avoid future confusions. lol And if you check page 3 of that thread, I had 6, Raze had 5, and SJ had 4, actually. Though SJ hasn't been seen or heard from in months.

I gotcha man, I should have known the idea of an Ultra squadron wasn't anything original!  Haha I don't really care, like I said I'm gonna resign - I'm more of a land combat guy, but I'll let ya know if Artorius and I want to take to the skies ;)

Combining the two is one option for sure, you have about the right amount of people.  If you wanted to recruit more you could have two separate squadrons of X-wings and Eta-2s, just like they had separate squadrons of X-wings and Y-wings at the Battle of Yavin.  You could name them after popular Ultrasabers or something... idk...

I'll have to go start that thread now. lol

You are right, combining would give us close to a full roster with 9 active members. But the more I think about it, the more I think creating 'Ultra Wing' and dividing the group into two squadrons would be best. That way there can be a group for prequel fighters, clone wars fighters, OT birds, and even beyond if people are crazy enough (we are), and nobody ever has to fight for a Roster Number or callsign. :) What say you all?

@threadjack, dude, do you know anyone with a motorbike or stunt bmx?, borrow their helmet put on some shades take a photo from different angles from your shoulders up, and you can be our first pilot character on the poster,

You know, now I'm getting torn between using my most awesome costume (the completed Jedi), and my half finished pilot. lol I do so love the cockpit..... Eh, I'll probably save the pilot for an UltraSquadron thing or something. lol Let TJ here be the first for the Poster. It's fitting for a member of his fame!  8)

Haha that's actually a brilliant idea guys.  ThreadJack would make such a good Stig, he's kind of the mysterious "top poster" of the forums after all.  It would be pretty funny for newbies who come here too, we'll tell them that no one has ever seen his face...

I personally vote for ThreadJack and Manroon to be the leaders of the Ultra Wing, but that's just me.  Any seconds?  Don't mean to derail the topic again...

Alright, to go in order.... I shoulda got the STIG thing. lol I love Top Gear. Vietnam episode was the best. I'll be happy to co-command Ultra Wing with my Wingmate, if that's good by the other pilots out there. :) And Wraith's got a mask for his Sith, so I don't see why he can't be in the poster. Who else is gonna shoot photo-shopped Sith-lightning at me? XD But, if that fails, he could always be represented by a black hole. lol And yeah, TJ should totally be our Stig. It'd be best if we could get him a pilot helmet with a blast shield or black visor, but whatever's doable would rock. 8)

I can't seem to find a full face helmet that's affordable(read: cheap). It's too bad I don't know anyone who has one I could borrow.

there does seem to be an interest in this, If you guys want to email me some photos I will start work on editing them, I have a friend who can make the poster using photoshop or show me how to do it. Send me some pics I will edit them and send them back to you via email for your approval. Once done we can work out themes and backgrounds and commence work on the poster itself. Just a quick question are we allowed to post our Email address direct in a post or does does it break any of our Rules. I want to get the ball rolling on this as quick as possible and with big guns like Nero, M.A.V., Manroon, TJ Stig and wraith showing interest I think we can pull something really good off together.

@ Manroon Final fantasy VII was a huge game out on the original playstation way back in the mid 90's the game was massive and took at least 100+ hours to complete. A limit break attack was each characters ultimate attack, and as you got to higher levels so did your limit break. The main character odf the game Cloud his ultimate limit break was the omnislash see vid below

its a really old cheap robe and its pretty small on me. its better to do something to it then have my mom sell it. i get some black dye though anyways. thanks for the tip

You know, this has me thinking.... Wingmate, you should make a Rebel Flight Helmet. From scratch for the photo. Out of...... CARDBOARD! Think about it! It's cheap, easy to cut AND color, easy to use to hide your face (sunglasses, goggles, or more cardboard for the visor)... everyone will recognize what it's supposed to be, yet it will be totally hilarious and worthy of TJSTIG!

Well, I've got one someone is supposed to send me from a party last weekend that should be nice, though the background will suck, and if all goes according to plan.... I'll have one or two supremely epic photos from the 31st. :) Me and my buddy with the VA Consular are gonna head out for unparalleled dueling in the local park. BWAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAAA! Then again, that might go badly for me as I plan to wear a couple pieces of my Dark Trooper armor with my Jedi for that. Going for something of the Clone Wars look, but in an OT style. IE Jedi who killed some Stormies and 'liberated' a little armor for practicality's sake.  8)
