This was my first entry, right at the beginning of the raffle, and didn't win me anything.  Winning entry and prize are supposed to arrive on Thursday, Revenge of the Fifth.

No winnings for me this raffle, but I've received my entry Bane and hopefully pics will be up in the next couple days . . .  It's an amazing hilt, I'm very impressed with it . . . .  "Bane Bros Represent" ;D

I look forward to pics, the Bane is on the short list for another project I've got in mind for later.

Actually had a couple of entries:

Entry 1: Dominix LE v4 in BR (to compliment another Dominix LE v4 I got with my first delve into grab bag sabers), MHS coupler (no sound), and a Dark Initiate v4 in VA for my sister.

Entry 2: The winning entry, Archon v2.1 in CG and a 32" HG blade

My entry was a Scorpion in Tri BR with v4 sound....ordered it back on the 13th of April. Needless to say, I'm a little antsy :P I placed third prize, so a random hilt with Lion setup. Very anxious to see what I get! Once I have a decent camera, I'll finally get some sweet pics and do video of my sabers thus far.

I would really like to see your pics of the bane. Thats going to be my second saber. What color blade did you get it in? I'm going to get it in guardian blue...it will be a lightside Bane. It would be cool to see a vídeo review too as there isn't too many reviews of the bane. Is the emitter all right? Does it stay firm and stable? Or does it woble after doing some dueling or spinning? Thank's...

My emerald Overlord w/V4 Obsidian is still "processing", so nothing I can show there. The Aeon LE V4 with Arctic Blue Blade and Obsidian v4 sound I got for my friend's Birthday is gorgeous!

The Guardian hilt was my entry saber and it is extremely awesome, it has v4 sound, nickel plating and is in Tri GB. The Aeon LE V3 was my 4th place raffle prize and it is in CG.

My iPad camera can barely handle the blade color and the av switch looks white but it is really blue. ;)

Overall I'm extremely happy with my entry and my prize saber. And let me just say that the nickel plating is awesome on the guardian. Thank you ultrasabers for making such nice sabers and shipping them out that quick.

And as General Grievous would say "These lightsabers will make a fine edition to my collection!"

I'm already thinking about my Bane review, but also sort of hoping for a new hilt for my prize so I can talk about that too.

What color did you get with the Bane James? Or did you go emerald? If so, I would like to see pics in guardian blue...I supose you are preparing another epic review for the Bane...

Hey Lord Japarco . . . My thoughts exactly, lol . . . I ordered mine with a black / blue AV switch and with the intention to swap out the LED to GB (ordered with quick disconnects, and ordered Tri-FO as I didn't have that LED yet) . . . Also I plan to use a blue emitter screw, the one in the second pic is a blue Menace lower screw but it's not fixed as yet, just sitting there, the red Bane screw has a 10-32 thread and is also longer than a Menace 8-32 thread screw, but I hope to glue the blue thumb screw to a 10-32 grub screw to make it fit . . . :)

Is the emiter firm and stable or does it woble affter taking it off, dueling or spinning??? I know it has 3 screws...could you tell me wich screw is for holding the blade and wich for holding the emitter? Thank you for the pics...+1

My entry and first US order was for an Aeon v4 with obsidian v4 sound in CG. It arrived today (yay May the 4th) with my third place prize which turned out to be a Dark Sentinel LE v4 also in CG (lol). These are now my first sabers and I'm loving them so far.

Japarco, mine is in Guardian Blue with pink flash (can't remember if I asked for Bane's Heart or Hot Pink, whichever one is advertised as available for blue) and a silver non-illuminated AV switch. I got quick disconnects too, although I did already show a Bane in pretty much every colour... (http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=18221.0).

I'm definitely looking forward to reviewing the Bane :D

So about an hour ago FedEx showed up. After some messing around and trying to take some pics I came up with these...

It doesn't show up with the lighting, and I have to run soon so I can't take better pics, but the winning saber I got is a Guardian. It's a First Prize one so this is just the default color. Gotta plug it into my computer to see what the second LED color is. Will post better pics (hopefully) tonight and what the second color is.

Ok... So I decided to plug it into the computer anyways before leaving... It's NOT the 2channel! The Guardian is a FULL Emerald 4 Channel RGB+W saber!

Yes, I saw your pics of the Bane in all colors, but really you could only see the blade and that is the same as any blade in GB. I want to see the full Hilt with the blue blade to see how it matches with the hilt... :D thank's for your resonse +1 for you. By the way, can you notice the same problems that waxman had with the emitter of his Bane, being too woblely?? Or does it feel firm?? And I know theres 3 screws, could you tell my wich one is for the blade and wich one for holding the emitter? Thanks very much...

The blue blade switch screw combo looks fantastic!

That does look very, very nice.

To answer your question, the emitter is rock solid! The 2 red buttons hold it in place, the "bunny ears" screw does also, but minimally, and the blade holder screw (which is at the bottom) does as well, but it's really only there for the blade. Even with the emitter window cut out, it's wobble free! There's the usual flexion of the blade when you strike something, but apart from that, absolutely nowt!

Oddly this is my favourite set up . . . +1 :)

Double menace day :D. My entry is the Dark Menace tri CG, Black Green AV switch, v4 sound. Im not sure who it was but someone had a stealth menace in FO which I thought looked awesome, so I wanted a jedi version of it. 2nd Prize winner is 1 half of my favorite sith's saber :) Regular Menace, Blazing Red, Silver AV switch, White FOC. Well I didn't win. But my wife did. Unfortunately, Cold Lake is 'apparently' such a difficult location to get to, therefore my order just arrived yesterday, and Ladybugs STILL has not. I will of course get photos up when the rest of the order arrives. I'm becoming more impatient as the days pass.

The Manticore CE (SRD w/V4 sound) was my entry.  My first place prize is a Crimson Scorpion which appears to be 2 channel Red/White.

I have been unable to plug in the crimson scorpion because the pommel is on really really tight.

UPDATE: Was able to remove the pommel with lots of work and found that the saber is actually 4 channel, with all four channels in the blade.  Awesome!

Okay, first of all, my winning entry saber...sort of.

It's a Dark Menace in EG (although it looks quite different to my other EG, a stunt Dark Apprentice LE), but it didn't stay in stock configuration for long.  I present Project: Undercover, the clandestine operations saber:

Yeah, it's about 1/8 to 1/4 inches longer than an Apprentice V2, WITH full Obsidian V4 sound and QDs.  I went for the non-Emerald, non=recharge Dark Menace body to squeeze the size down as much as I could, after my experiments earlier this year with a Dark Menace fitted with a Flamberge emitter ring.  I felt that was too shallow a blade socket, at 1 inch, so to go with the smallest Dark Menace body I could get, I also got an MHS Scorpion pommel, the neck of which got pressed into service in between the saber body and the Flamberge emitter ring.

This saber is TINY, for a full-featured saber.  It measures exactly 9" from the face of the emitter to the end of the pommel, a half inch shorter than the US listed dimensions of the Initiate V3, and 7/8" shorter than the Initiate V4, and it does that with STYLE.  Just the sort of thing an undercover Jedi (or Sith) could hide on their person, and it's the perfect one handed saber.  The threaded holes for the regular knurled buttons will get filled with low profile button screws or something similar.

My prize is to receive another Scorpion to go with the one I recently bought, but different in that it's the Crimson model, has the claw, has no recharge port, and has a guarded switch.  Oh, and it's RGBW instead of my other Scorpion's RGBA.  Yeah, that's right, I got lucky enough to get a 4-channel instead of a 2-channel on a 1st prize saber.  I scored, and scored big, with this.

So, soon I'll get to do a double Scorpion video review, which should be fun, and I got to have some of the options I passed on with my other one, such as the claw.


Also today, I received my "beater" stung Dark Apprentice staff, in Tri-AS, which I'll be using with LEE filters, for the most part.

It has been a heck of a Revenge of the Fifth.

It is interesting that all of the 1st prizes that we've seen so far have had 4-Channel Emerald.  US once again just leaves me flabbergasted at how good they are to us.  Not only giving away a ton of sabers, but throwing premium hilts around like crazy and sabers with a higher level of sound and LED options than was advertised.  Just amazing that they go to such lengths for the customers.

Well, I would gladly post but I'm still waiting on mine :P Entry was a Scorpion in Tri BR and I got a third place prize but I have yet to receive them. The anticipation is killing me! However, every saber I've gotten has blown my mind so I can be a little more patient in waiting......just a little though.

I honestly don't know why I waited so long to get the Archon v2.1..... it's soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo comfortable to hold...

Here's my raffle entry, Apprentice LE v4 in AB, Obsidian V4 Sound, and added Catalyst Pommel.  And I'm lucky to be one of the 3rd place winners, which is a Dark Sentinel v4 with no windows.  The AV switch is great, making the saber very comfortable to hold.  I was actually thinking to start my weathering project on one of my sabers, and the Dark Sentinel comes in at the perfect time! ;D

Another picture with both sabers in full length.  This is my first time ordering a bullet tip blade.  I turns out the round tip look more well lit in real life.  :P

These new latching av switches are indeed "ACE", lol . . . . THE best addition to the US options for stunt sabers in a long time, IMO, lol . . . and, you know, I was going to say something about that awesome "blue" coloured blade you won, hehe . . . . but I'll just let you enjoy it . . .  ;)

^^ Ah haha Jed. . . enough with you buddy! ;D  Actually it's ok :), my wife pointed out that my son will likely be stoked about wanting to use one without sound and blue is his FAVOURITE blade so it'll all work out great.  Eventually these will have QD's so I'll be able to have quite a few options.

Hi all, my order finally arrived here in Australia yesterday.
My entry was a dark warglaive in tri-BR with v4 sound. My 2nd place prize is a Liberator V3 in VA with AS FoC.

In the video I say I think the Liberator is in DVA, this was because the batteries were low and the red wasn't coming through as strong.

Congrats to all and I'm super jelly for everyone that's gotten their prize sabers already. I'm holding onto my purchased ones until the end of the month for my boy's birthday, so I haven't even really been able to check mine out either haha. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that Consular was one that they already had sitting around, perhaps from the stock they take to cons.  Because Consulars have been out of stock for a while now, and the latest we've heard, they will be for a while yet.

As far as my recent email correspondence goes, normal Consular hilts are estimated to be back in stock by the end of this month, with the nickel plated versions estimated to be back in stock at the end of next month. Again, the timeframes are estimates at best...T__T

I was just working with my prize saber this evening (loading up some sound fonts and adjusting blade colors), and I realized that the openings at the base of the pommel were different from the openings on the Scorpion I had purchased previously.  Here is an image; the Crimson Scorpion is the prize saber, the Black Scorpion is the one I purchased last year.

Very cool! It looks similar to the pattern on the Omen sabers now. I wonder if they are doing the same for the Guardian now too.
