So I had decided to get a pair of Dark Sentinel based on my budget after reading many reviews!

As usual, I went ahead with my artistry practise and found out the the top choke point is too large. So i did a paracord ring to reduce the size of the choke point.

Thereafter, I decided to wrap on the lower point of the hilt due to Singapore humid weather. We guys tend to sweat alot! This reduces the slippery grip without the need of wearing gloves. Secondly, i didn't get the LE version because I wanted to see the comestic look of the paracord on that portion.

And i forget to take picture before I started to wrap the second hilt.

Food for thought: Have you considered using different colored paracord to compliment your hilt? I love the look of the white, but I personally would've gone with a red

Very, very nice.  I love the contrast of the white on black.  Stormtrooper style.  ;D

Though, I have to agree with GregG124.  I think red would look really slick on there.  It would be a nice match for your buttons and (presumably) blades.

Ok, since everyone is eager to see a red one, i will purchase a red color paracord tomorrow and give it a try on the second hilt. Then i can differentiate my left and right hand sabre ;D

As mentioned, i finally got time to head to city centre to buy the red paracord.
Oh boy! I think I am inclined to change all to red paracords now :P

I was thinking about doing something similar, but it turns out I'm happy with mine as they are.

going to change the other hilt to red also  ;D

just some details, the loop at the top of the hilt has 6 overlaps while the bottom of the hilt has 8 overlaps for other 2 loops.

The reason for the top to have 6 overlaps is to reduce the profile of the loop for easier grip.
The 8 overlaps loops is to stand out from the normal paracord in between.

Not sure if you guys understand what i saying.. Lol

Hi.  Your sabers look really good.  You do a great job with the paracord wrap.  Very even and clean looking.  I like both the white and red versions.   point    8)

The Dark side has drawn me further..

That pike is awesome!

Basically my pike is made up of 1 dark sentinel with blade, followed by 2 yari extension and ending with the dark sentinel hilt

Nice just got Grab bag saber and it was a Dark Sentinal LE version and I was thinking of doing a paracord  rap on mine. Now I think I will get it a try Dark side points for you

Fantastic work.  I understand little about braiding, but I still enjoyed those closeups.  They help us appreciate the hard work involved even more. The staff looks really cool. 8)

Hi.  Your avatar suggests that you are a highland dancer ?  Thanks for sharing the latest photos as they answered some of my questions.  Was wondering what the black QR coupler looked like and more importantly... your EW modification choice is exactly what I would have done with the black av switch and black pommel.

That paracord wrap is still one of the cleanest and best that I've seen and the red looks so good.   point  8)

The dark side hilt combi was what i looking at so i went for the black switch and pommel :)

As for my avatar, there is a star guiding the dancer in the highlands. That "star" could be the deathstar?? Lol

Very sweet pics.  Your wrap is definitely sweet.  That QR coupler is nice, I have one in silver.  I also really like your choices on the Electrum Wind.  That black button looks sharp against the gold.  :)
