Title: Suggestions on where to buy leather wrap for the sabers? Post by: buddygroove on September 26, 2017, 06:15:33 AM It would be nice to add some leather wrap or any type of wrap for the saber to give it an interesting look and help give it a better grip.

Post by: scifidude79 on September 26, 2017, 01:42:24 PM You can buy scraps of leather on Etsy, where you'll have to measure and cut it to the size you want and use epoxy to put it on the hilt, or put holes in it and use some kind of leather lacing to hold it on.
Alternately, you can go to Amazon and look at leather grip tape for sports. It's the stuff that's used for tennis rackets, baseball bats, golf clubs, etc. Good stuff, I've used it in the past. If it's not the exact color you want, you can always dye it. On the plus side, it's already in a strip and has adhesive on it already. Can get a a big skin for a VERY reasonable price, starting at only £18.00 GBP that could wrap many sabers .. I have heard that Goat skin is recommended and they do many patterned/coloured Goat skins too, Just have to cut the strips yourself ... I'm going to be customising my Guardians and I'm liking the dark grey digi camo goat skin.
