Title: Where do you practice in the winter? Post by: skribs on November 07, 2017, 10:56:55 PM It's starting to get into the wet season where I live, so practicing outside is quickly becoming not-an-option. Where do you practice in the winter?

Title: Re: Where do you practice in the winter? Post by: Darth Cephalus on November 08, 2017, 02:48:45 AM Out in the rain, mud, and/or snow mostly. A lot of parks in my area have little gazebos as well. On occasion, in my store.

Title: Re: Where do you practice in the winter? Post by: Darth Cephalus on November 08, 2017, 10:37:44 AM What sabers do you use out in the rain? My beater pair of dark initiates. For heavy rain, I may wrap them in silicone fix it tape to waterproof them. It just takes a strip over the button and another on the blade just above where it goes in to the saber. If you like, you can use a third to seal the pommel or an O ring. At that point, you can pretty much throw it in a pool, not that I would suggest that. Title: Re: Where do you practice in the winter? Title: Re: Where do you practice in the winter? Post by: GregG124 on November 14, 2017, 10:50:02 PM I personally train at my workplace. As a janitor I have the building to myself more often than not so after my work is done I'll train in the warehouse.
Title: Re: Where do you practice in the winter? Post by: Lord Sidious on November 15, 2017, 08:33:11 AM I might practice my balance in the swimming pool - walk with the saber both hands pointing up and out of the water. :o
