Title: FINISHED! Aeon V2 LE & Sentinel V4
Post by: RRabbi on December 12, 2017, 11:39:48 PM
There were a couple threads I created already showing the journey of putting leather wraps on my first two Ultrasabers, but since I just received the thumb screws I ordered I thought I'd post this quick topic showing the finished hilts. Very satisfied with how they turned out.

Love how they turned out, and the double thumbscrews looks great!  +1

Nice!  I love how the leather wrap looks in the Sentinel V4!  And the replacement set screws look great!  The fact that they also allow for tool-free blade install is just a bonus.  :-)  Nicely done!

UPDATE:

Just when I thought I was finished, I decided to add O-Rings to the hilt of my Sentinel V4...  the plain grip just seemed empty, with all those grooves, since I didn't opt for the LE version...

So yeah... I'm done. I hope.

Nice. I like the look of the Sentinel. I honestly didn't think the covertech wheel would fit just above the pommel though. Need to redo one now x.x Like to me t always looked like the pommel threads always went up that high

Thanks everyone!

I've decided that I should probably put two more O-rings in the grooves of the Sentinel emitter. I should have done it when I had the chance while buying the 21 O-rings the other day... I'll probably get a pair of O-rings that are a bit bigger...

Will do that ASAP
