Correction!  3rd Silver and Gold Hilt is the Sentinel LE V4 not the Apprentice LE V4.  Long day at work!!

Nice review and a good looking set of saber. Just curious, does your apprentice have the lithium ion batteries? Because that would put it over $75 value. Also $5 for the windows.

I just took the batteries out of my Apprentice V4 and no they are not lithium, but the normal alkaline type.
So either US messed up and sent me a saber under the $75.00 value or we get the $75.00 value collectively through our entire order.  Should I contact US to ask?  I'm sure I would have to pay for shipping.  Not sure if it's worth it if that's the case.

The blade length on Apprentice/Initiate line is $10 extra. Sadly, this also counts to bring the value up, even if you got it with 16 inch blade. At least I think so. I would check if it has a Tri Cree LED, that's another $15. Otherwise, you could contact Ultrasabers, they'll tell you what could be done.

So you are saying that if you get a smaller blade length than the standard 36" that's an up charge?  The shorter 16" blade came with the Aeon hilt or at least that's how it was packaged and wrapped together in the bubble wrap.  How can I tell if it's a Tri Cree LED?  I don't plan to send anything back, the shipping charges won't be worth it to either party, but store credit on another saber would be nice if for some reason I did get an under value saber.

I looked it up, Tri Cree LEDs have 3 LEDs inside the hilt.  I opened mine and it's just a single LED.  So I guess I'll contact them with picture to see what they say.  I'll let you guys know what I find out.

You sound email then for piece of mind but from what I understand (from another member) he was told a 36 inch blade on an Apprentice is a $10 upgrade. So that with the windows put it at $75.

Over all some nice sabers and AB in a MB is kinda rare.

So for my next saber/sabers I should probably get all 24" initiate blades so that doesn't happen again.  Doesn't look like a 16" blade is even an option for the Apprentice.
