September is here and many of us will start a new season of training session and bloody duels with Dark sider  :P

Do you have some goals for this season? Grades in your former Martial discipline? A new two handed style with your Aeon V4? The conquest of Korriban with your Initiate V2? The organization of a Hunt for Jedi Party with your Phantom?

Please, share with us your projects!!!

Some simple things for me because time is something precious i do not have enough.

1- A new Grade in Canne i hope ... I need time to work this but i really want to reach this goal.
2- As the head coach has now a Go-Pro camera, i will try to make some vids and some tutorial.

 

Main project is working on a new form combining either saber-staff or single-bladed saber with Mandalorian Martial Arts (combining saber with the Mandalorian's focus on brutal empty handed fighting.)

I want to get more comfortable spinning with my non-dominant hand with the basic techniques and then get into staff spinning as a future goal. 

I want to do a video of a hard duel against a Jedi xD
I want to post more videos on my channel !

So are you going to duel with your wife?  She has a blue blade.... so she's a Jedi 

Haha maybe ! But she's maybe a Jedi .... but a scary one ! Even Darth Vader would be afraid !

I haven’t been over here very much, but this thread is a good one🤙🏻 
1)i will learn my next DEK form as a member of the Knighthood and earn my Entropy Blade, and will help my lady Emalia Graestar to learn her first form(ever of anything that isn’t a dance routine😁). 
2)Also, i will expand my Academy’s student base to include 10-13 y.o. padawan and even younglings by this winter. 
3)i will officially take the SSA out of a back room and into my own studio as an official LLC( and hopefully score a Main St business front!!🤘🏻)
4)i will continue to help anyone that wants a tutorial or a demo vid😊

I look forward to seeing your academy expand, Elwood.  If anyone deserves success, it's you.  Even though you have to make a living, you're doing it with what you love and you're still making tutorial and demo videos for those that can only view online.  Have your 300th point!   ;D

Thanks, man!😁 here’s the kicker- the SSA’s just modeled to support itself right now.  That means i still work my 40ish hours a week at the (imaginary world) job before i get back to my real life as a Jedi😉🤙🏻

I, like Infinit, need some work with my non dominant hand. Staves have been my main focus for decades, but as of late I’ve been slacking. Also, I’d like to get a naginta and get some time in with that. My only regret now is I live too far form graestar to attend at the academy! ;););)

Well there are supposed to be fencing classes starting this month in the town I just moved to, so looking to get into that.

Oh man, we’d have a blasty-blast🤙🏻😄! In the meantime, ask away brother of the blade and i’ll hit you with the means to create your own drill-sets to work in that new muscle memory and flexibility🙏🏻

Will do and thanks!  It would be cool if you, Gumby and myself can do a remote session.  But I'll take a one on one.

Unfortunately, you’d spend all your time waiting on me, as I get about 30 seconds of time to myself a day. 90% of my posts occur during work while I’m in limbo waiting for a pos to load or some other hardware to upgrade. My doctor told me I’m a fat ass( not literally, but in a very doctory-with a good bedside-manery way), so I have to get in five or ten where I can.

Lots of good things are forecasted for the next months ... great to read that ;)

Great topic for me to jump back into the forum following a hiatus. I have been through a very challenging couple months- the most difficult time of my life. But I made it through and I am really looking forward to a new season, making positive changes and filling “my void” with all the things I love to do- sabering being near the top of the list. I have a lot of personal objectives but my saber related ambitions for this fall:
-work on more videos for the AFA channel (I put out the first new one last night l- let me know what you think!).
-take my form III trial.
-have a successful saber demo/panel this month at the Buffalo Comicon.
All that and maybe contributing some to the forum.
Good luck to everyone with following through on goals for this fall!

It is great if Saber can help you to feel better after those difficult months... Sports are generally good for that ;)

Thanks Master S, moving one's body in any kind meaningful way is great therapy. Add light sabers, combat, a little star wars and good people to the sweating- that can get me through just about anything!  Here's a link:
