Title: All Superbowl Trailers 2019 Post by: Infinit01 on February 06, 2019, 05:58:14 AM Just got busy the last few days with work and didn't get a chance to post this
Sorry... Some were already released online beforehand and the others didn't really do much to move my needle (with the exception of Endgame, although I was planning on seeing that already).

I've already seen the ones that I cared about weeks before the Superbowl Title: Re: All Superbowl Trailers 2019 Post by: Taegin Roan on February 06, 2019, 07:12:04 PM I kinda want to watch Hobbs and Shaw, but I haven't watched the other Fast and Furious movies, so I'll have to watch those first sometime.
Title: Re: All Superbowl Trailers 2019 Post by: Darth Tepes on February 06, 2019, 08:18:17 PM Oh...is that what Hobbs and Shaw is? A Fast and the Furious spin off.... I paid very little attention to the trailer lol. I too haven't seen any of the F&F films other than the original

That's actually the beauty of Hobbs & Shaw. It's been designed for people who have never seen/hate the F&F movies. All you need to know about both characters is in the trailer. The Rock came into the F&F franchise in number 5. Jason Statham came in at number 7 (after a brief post-credit cameo in number 6). There really isn't much else you need to know. They're both badasses. They both hate each other. Begin.Oh...is that what Hobbs and Shaw is? A Fast and the Furious spin off.... I paid very little attention to the trailer lol. I too haven't seen any of the F&F films other than the original Did the "Fast & Furious presents" not give it away? :D :D :DTitle: Re: All Superbowl Trailers 2019 Post by: Darth Tepes on February 06, 2019, 09:38:17 PM Did the "Fast & Furious presents" not give it away? :D :D :D Like I said...didn't really pay attention :p Title: Re: All Superbowl Trailers 2019 Post by: Darth Knox on February 06, 2019, 09:41:20 PM Like I said...didn't really pay attention :p Must try harder. C-Title: Re: All Superbowl Trailers 2019 Post by: Darth Tepes on February 06, 2019, 09:51:45 PM Must try harder. C- Nah...not a movie that peaks my interest. You know..I can say I haven't seen a movie with the Rock in is since The Rundown. But, if you don't think his movies are the kind of thing you'll like then play on playa.Title: Re: All Superbowl Trailers 2019 Post by: Darth Tepes on February 06, 2019, 10:49:42 PM You've missed out on some entertaining films. But, if you don't think his movies are the kind of thing you'll like then play on playa. Eh..its more akin to what we've discussed before. Adult hood has caused me to have to be more selective on what films I go see and the death of video rentals has pretty much narrowed my film watching. Title: Re: All Superbowl Trailers 2019 Post by: Darth Knox on February 07, 2019, 02:36:13 AM and the death of video rentals has pretty much narrowed my film watching. That's why God created Netflix. And Amazon Prime. And online streaming. As replacements for video rental. Title: Re: All Superbowl Trailers 2019 Post by: Darth Tepes on February 06, 2019, 08:24:21 PM That's why God created Netflix. And Amazon Prime. And online streaming. As replacements for video rental. I do have netflix...but not everything is ON Netflix...from what I can tell there is actually a lot less on American Netflix than in other countries. and I can not afford to have multiple streaming services. When I could go to a store and pick out exactly what I wanted for 2 or 3 dollars...I saw a lot more films Title: Re: All Superbowl Trailers 2019 Post by: Darth Knox on February 07, 2019, 09:20:02 AM I do have netflix...but not everything is ON Netflix...from what I can tell there is actually a lot less on American Netflix than in other countries. That's interesting, as I always thought it was the other way round. That American Netflix had a greater choice of films and shows than the UK for instance. I know there are some regional differences in terms of TV shows (we have a lot of UK comedies available as well as shows like Doctor Who). But in movie terms, I know we have quite a few movies on Netflix starrinlg The Rock if you search for them.I only have Amazon Prime for a few specific shows. My main streaming platform of choice is Netflix. Although I do miss places like Blockbusters, but Netflix is definitely a good alternative. Title: Re: All Superbowl Trailers 2019 Post by: Infinit01 on February 07, 2019, 04:59:29 AM I for one look forward to the Hobbs and Shaw film. I'm a huge F&F fan despite the franchise changing into a complete action movie.
Title: Re: All Superbowl Trailers 2019 Post by: Darth Knox on February 07, 2019, 01:19:57 PM They've all kinda merged into one for me now. The first was a blatant rip-off of Point Break, just with cars. The 5th introduced The Rock. Other than that if you were to tell me the basic story/plot I wouldn't be able to tell you which movie it came from. But they are hugely popualr because of how utterly ridiculous they all now are.
But I am excited to see H&S purely cos I love The Rock, I love The Stath and I love The Idris. And Helen Mirren plays The Stath's mum! For instance the Titans live action show is available on Netflix in other countries..but is only available on the DC Universe streaming service in the states. I can give better examples when I get home and can sign in. Title: Re: All Superbowl Trailers 2019 Post by: Darth Knox on February 07, 2019, 02:19:47 PM Its more due to regional Copyright issues. I thought it was partially due to international broadcasting rights coupled with the fact DC Streaming/CBS All Access/Hulu are only available in America. But the multiple streaming services is more an issue for TV shows than movies. If you o ly have Netflix plenty of Rock based movies on there for you to watch. It also applies to movies...because no..there isn't a lot of Rock films on US Netflix....example. I stand corrected. Although I'm surprised San Andreas, Faster, Jumanji, Snitch et al aren't available. Yea..I honestly don't know what all entails what get puts on Netflix here in the states...but from what I have seen it is a lot more limited than overseas. Heck they will even take things off. I wanted to watch Wolf of Wall Street the other day and its gone now. Heck they will even take things off. I wanted to watch Wolf of Wall Street the other day and its gone now. I think if it's movies the studios have a lot mre say in The States. However, international deals are very different. With TV shows, it was more straight forward until TV networks decided they could get in on the streaming game and get their own chunk of the pie. Title: Re: All Superbowl Trailers 2019 Post by: Infinit01 on February 08, 2019, 03:42:01 PM Netflix take things off and put new things in due to contractual agreements and whatnot. I think we're limited more in the states here because we tend to have more content than any other country that makes movies and shows. (My opinion of course and I may be wrong). Most of our shows and movies are watched overseas and have fans alike and they don't get everything that we have so it's cycled out. Plus, Netflix check to see what's being watched and what isn't so they take movies and shows out of rotation. It sucks, I agree
Title: Re: All Superbowl Trailers 2019 Post by: Darth Knox on February 08, 2019, 07:30:19 PM Although sometimes they put things back on again. Like Blue is the Warmest Colour. It disappeared for about 6-8 months but the it came back. So keep your fingers crossed.
