I'm looking for something a little more in the way of a Nodachi-styled lightsaber. In the SW Legacy comics, there's a Sith Minion named Darth Nihl who wields a "long-handled lightsaber". 1 blade only.
Suggestions and best options? Some folks have built some nice long-handled sabers using Yari extensions or for something in the 3.5 to 4 inch range there are some nice extensions on TCSS website.
I don't know if you can get the "grenade grip" section of the Arbiter saber from US but it also makes an EXCELLENT extension. A third option would be to acquire a v2 staff coupler and an Initiate V2 to go with your Aeon, just put a blade plug in the Initiate instead of a blade for single-blade use. There are many options. :-) I will send a link to TCSS via PM... And for some idea of what that might look like... I like the idea of an extension for sure. The yari would be a nice touch. I've also been looking at the CSS website and they have some unique stuff. Ultimately, I'm kinda eyeing the Sentinel V4 as a base model.

This is a long handled saber that is a wicked spinner, as well as easily customizable. I love the non windowed look because it makes it stand out from the rest, giving the emitter a unique look. I just did one, I have big hands and its easily a 2 handed hilt.

I second this recommendation. The V3 can easily be customized and is long enough to be two handed, as well has having excellent choke points for spinning. |
