Does anyone know what would be the ABSOLUTE SHORTEST POSSIBLE configuration of MHS parts for a sound-capable saber?
I'm pretty sure the Emporer's Hand pommel is the shortest pommel, what about the hilt body and emitter?  Which are shortest?
I want to put an Obsidian V4 into it, so that's the only other requirement.

I gave the links to his build posts. The straight shoto is made from the body section of a Reaper.

Let me please clarify: which STOCK ULTRASABERS MHS PARTS will allow me to create the shortest possible saber WITH SOUND?

Well, the shortest possible body I could find is 7.25", and the shortest possible emitter I could find is 2.1", so with a basic flat pommel, that works out to be about 9.65".

Or you could get an Initiate v3, which is 9.5" long.

There may be shorter bodies available, but that's what I could find listed on the main site.

Initiate V3, maybe an extension just to give a bit more room for the electronics, and either Grand Master pommel, its on the short side as well and has some character to the design too

Ini V2s are out because they aren't MHS. I assume that MHS implies you're implying that you want an MHS emitter?

If this is the case, then I recommend a Menace. It only 9.75" from emitter to pommel.

If not, then an Ini V3 or higher, or an Apprentice V4 or higher will be the same length.

That short hilt in the above post IS standard and can be made with 1/2 of a reaper hilt, without needing to cut anything.

The line indicates the lower section of the hilt that can be removed without tools. It's 5 inches long and has MHS compatible threads at each end. A 1 inch emitter and a flush pommel makes the thing only 6 inches long and 1-1/2 inches in diameter.

EDIT: Just looked at mine and the lower section has a screw plug that would need to be removed or a male to female adapter added to allow an emitter to be attached. But the crazy thing is, the upper section is only 3-1/2 inches in length, but would have a switch hole in the middle.
