I was wondering why my Manticore saber is turning off alone after 40 seconds, with the sound the word "Obsidian" being heard when it switches off... I was also looking for the USB port in the Obsidian soundboard, since it is not visible (maybe covered with electric tape?) when I take out the battery pack. FYI, the battery pack is a regular 4 AAA batteries... Thanks in advance for your help ! FYI, the battery pack is a regular 4 AAA batteries... Thanks in advance for your help ! If it uses 4 AAA batteries then it is the Obsidian Lite board and will not have a USB port. Only the v3, v4, and Diamond sound boards have USB ports. Those boards do not run on AAA batteries, only Li-Ion batteries. If it is turning off on its own and saying "Obsidian" then the batteries are too low to power the saber. Change them for new ones. One of the batteries is very loose for some reason, had to tape it in to keep it firmly in place. Thankfully its a saber I rarely use.
