Title: Star Wars Games: Gameplay Footage
Post by: DarthProdigal on November 22, 2020, 09:52:49 PM
Alright, so I went through some of my recorded gameplay and decided to finally upload some. Not really my kind of thing, so I'm starting posting a little bit of it here for public consumption. I figure it's the best way to get some of it reviewed a bit, maybe entertain you all as well, and figure out what I want to make into public posts. Right now it's most likely to be Star Wars Battlefront 1 & 2 for PS4. I'm also not trying to actively SPOIL anything for people who haven't played these games or watched movies related to the characters, but if this happens as a result... at least you were warned of the possibility. So I can try to label Campaign videos as such. Feel free to enjoy them or not at your own discretion.

Wanted to post a good Darth Vader clip today. Remembering the 1st Sith Lord to be seen in our galaxy.

Figured I might as well add Anakin Skywalker as a Jedi Knight while I was at it...
but I'm not sure that 1st link for the 2nd video is working properly. This one should. Still working out how to post these properly, they won't embed the way I want.

Hi DarthProdigal, to embed a YT video you need to copy the URL from the address bar at the top of your browser window (not  the shortcode or share button links) and paste that URL on a separate line within your post/message. You also have to remove the "S" from the https prefix so the URL begins http://

Here is your video for you and if you click to quote my comment you should be able to see how the copy and paste works ok!

I always appreciate your help, and I knew those steps from looking around at comments, and my own past failures. But making them work properly is still eluding me at the application phase. I tried it, and several variations I thought should work... but I'm somehow messing it up regardless. It wouldn't even let me fix it after I tried a time or 3 hence the "repaired double post" with it still in hyperlink format. I'll have to look into it once more, and try with a future video until I achieve success. I'd wanted it to look cleaner (work on the first shot) but around the time it stopped letting me modify my own post (without posting anywhere else after) I realized that was no longer feasible. You're a wiz/godsend with any wall I seem to run into so I will redouble my efforts with your advice as my new frame of reference. Kicked you up like 7 points for the avatar design, throwing a bonus in for aiding me here as well (tried to add a reference to your work in my sig but was out of space) but technology hates me on occasion and I hate it right back when warranted.
